Anne Marie After I left my mom's house I came over to Audrey's and told her everything that happened that night.
She said I could stay here for as long as I wish.
I've still been going to work but have been avoiding Jacob all week. He's tried talking to me but honestly I'm too embarrassed to face him.
Other than that, I haven't done much this week. I haven't seen Giovanni either. I'm still trying to process that situation.
Anyway, tomorrow is the wedding and I don't plan on going.
-doorbell-
Audrey : -opens door- Oh hey! Jacob : Hey, is Anne Marie here? Audrey : Yeah I'll let her know you're here.
-knock-
Audrey : Come here for a sec!
Anne Marie I came out of room and-
Jacob?
Anne Marie : Hi.. Jacob : Can we talk? Audrey : I'm going to the store real quick. I'll be back later! -walks out- Anne Marie : What's up? Jacob : You tell me what's up. You've been avoiding me. Anne Marie : I have not. Jacob : We've barely talked all week. Anne Marie : I'm sorry it's just.... I wanted to be away for a bit. Jacob : I miss you.. Anne Marie : Really? Jacob : You sorta became my best friend. I would go to you for everything. Anne Marie : I'm sorry about what I said last week. I didn't mean it like that it's just my mom- Jacob : I know, she attacked you and you had to defend yourself. Anne Marie : Yeah.. Jacob : Are you going to the wedding? Anne Marie : No I have nothing to do there. Jacob : I'm sorry about your mom. I don't know what's it with her. Anne Marie : Don't worry....she's always been like that with me. I'm used to it by now. Jacob : You don't deserve to be treated like that though. She doesn't appreciate the daughter she has. Anne Marie : -smile- As long as she appreciates you. You're the sweetest person to exist. You deserve to be treated well. Despite everything, I hope your marriage won't be a fail. You don't deserve that. Jacob : Thank you, are we cool? Anne Marie : We've e always been cool! Jacob : Give me a hug and I'll believe you. Anne Marie : -laugh- Of course..
Anne Marie He opened his arms for me so I obviously hugged him. We hugged for a few seconds.
I lifted up my head to look at him. He looked back down at me. We stood in this very position. Neither of us moved.
