"You'll be helping the second years explore this abandoned building, and rid it of any curses!" Gojo-sensei explained. "And why am I on this mission exactly? There's already three of them." I questioned. "You never know what'll happen, and the rest of the first years are on another mission." Gojo-sensei replied.

I nodded. I glanced at Toge. He was trying to avoid eye contact with me. This is so awkward.. hopefully we can both forget what happened. "Well, good luck!" Gojo-sensei exclaimed, before disappearing.

We all stood awkwardly in a circle. "We should get going." Panda finally spoke. The rest of us agreed.

____________

As soon as we entered the building, I sensed an immense amount of curse energy. "We'll split up in teams, Toge and Maki, and [Y/n] and I." Panda ordered. Toge and I locked eyes for a moment but quickly looked away. I can't help but to remember what happened!

Toge and Maki went their way, and Panda and I went ours. I held onto my spear tightly. "Panda, where do you think the curse or, curses, could be?" I asked. "I don't know, it's masking its presence well." Panda answered.

I listened closely for any sign of the curse. "[Y/n]." Panda spoke. "Hm?" I hummed. "Do you have any clue why Sukana said he knew where you got your destructiveness from?" he asked. My breath hitched. "No, why?" I questioned. Why'd he ask me that?

"Your past life and relations are still unknown to us, so there's no harm being cautious." he explained. I can understand that.

"It's not that I don't trust you, I'm just curious. You seriously don't remember anything?" Panda asked. "There are patches here and there in my memory." I stated. "I see. Let's find this curse and get out of here." Panda said, before reaching his fist out for a fist bump. I smiled gently. "Yeah." I said, before bumping his fist with mine.

Suddenly, a loud screech erupted through the building. The building began to shake. "What's happening?!" I asked, fearfully. Flames erupted in the area. I began coughing from the smoke. No.. I can't. 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲.

"Panda!" I shouted. There was no response. I gripped my spear. I ran in different directions, searching for any sign of Panda, Toge, or Maki. I panted as I ran, trying my best not to think about it. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲..

Maybe if I exorcise the curse, the flames will go away. But, where is it?

𝑂𝑣𝑒𝑟 ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒!

That voice.. "Onii-chan!" I shouted. I looked to my left to see a shadow beckoning me that way. 𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑤𝑎𝑦!

He ran in that direction. I followed right behind him. I can barely keep up with him. I dug my foot into the ground and boosted myself forward. I'm starting to catch up with him now.

"Wait!" I shouted. He went left, and so did I. "[Y/n]!" I heard someone shout. It sounds like Panda. Oh well, no time to stop and check.

"Is that [Y/n]?" Panda asked. "Salmon." Toge answered. "Let's catch up with her." Maki said, running towards the direction the girl's voice came from.

They ran towards the hallway, but stopped dead in their tracks when they saw the shadow of a boy run past them. "What was that?" Maki asked.

"Onii-chan!" [Y/n] shouted, reaching out for the shadow. "Onii-chan?.." Panda asked. "But isn't he, dead?" Maki asked.

Toge clenched his fists. All of the second years had the same thought. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁.
