Calm and Comforting - Killua x Reader (one shot)

Loving Hugs

It's been a long day. You're stressed out from work and personal issues, all you want now is to go to bed. You finally make it home. You open the door to see Killua, your loving boyfriend, inside waiting for you. His fluffy white hair, deep sapphire eyes and sweet smile always brings you a sense of happiness. He can tell by your expression that today wasn't the best. As you shut the door, he takes you into a loving hug.
"Rough day, y/n?"
"Really rough day. I just want to get some sleep."
"I get it. You should at least take a shower before bed. You wouldn't want to dirty the sheets, you dummy." He says playfully.
You nod, and Killua pats your head as you go to the bathroom to shower.

You finish bathing, dry off and get into your pajamas. Taking a shower helped relieve a tiny bit of the stress. Some stress taken off is better than none. You place your dirty clothes and your wet towel into the washing machine and head to your room. As you walk in, you see Killua sitting down on the bed.
"I felt like I should keep you company tonight. I want to make you feel better." He says softly.
You smile and get into the bed next to him. You both lay down as he pulls the covers over the both of you. Without warning, he pulls you into a gentle, loving embrace. His arms are kept wrapped around you, but one hand trails up to your head, giving it soft strokes. The way he's holding gives you a feeling of safety and security. You feel all your stress from today die down. Your breathing deepens and you are completely relaxed. As you drift off to sleep, you hear Killua say:
"Sweet dreams. Things will be better tomorrow. I love you, y/n."
