Chapter 2

I was almost finished with the cannon when I hear a crash noise. I looked it was the Chevy Twins *New record* I thought then I realized they destroyed one of the cannons IronHide was going to tested out

I paused then grabbed my biggest wrench and threw it at them "Ow! The heck man!" Mudflap yelled even though I can't get mad just giving people a blank stare causes them to get scared so the Chevy Twins backed away and ran for it

"Ian what happened?" IronHide asked "The Chevy Twins destroyed one of the cannons you were excited about testing" I explained as I looked on how damaged the cannon is *Doesn't look that back just have to get the dents out of it* I thought

IronHide growled a bit I looked at him then decided to distracted him with a question I've been meaning to ask him "Hide? Are you planning on asking my brother on a date?" I asked IronHide stuttered and blushed like crazy I turned my head at him confused on why he's stuttering

"I-I why d-do y-you ask t-that?" IronHide asked "Hide I think everyone can see how you two look at each other plus every time I see you look at Will I see this hungry look in your eyes" I said IronHide grunted and looked away

"I don't see why your asking me this question" IronHide said "I don't see why I shouldn't be asking that question Hide" I said "I might be planning on asking him ok? Happy now?" IronHide said

"Hide you know I can't feel happy for the life of me so why asked that question? But if I could I would say yes" I said IronHide grunted again *Him and his grunting how does he do it all the time?* I thought/asked myself

I went over to a fully finished cannon "This ones finished Hide go ahead and test it. Tell me the results when I get back from a drive" I said as I handed him the cannon then walked to my truck/vehicle mode "Ok Ian be careful" IronHide said I nodded

Then got into my truck and drove off to a private area once I was there I looked around for any people or bots I see none *Ok let's see if I can do this without any pain* I thought. I deactivated my holoform and transformed I looked down at myself "I still don't feel anything even if I'm in my true form" I mumbled "Ian?" A voice question I looked it's Optimus *Scrap* I thought

(Optimus pov)

"Hi Optimus" Ian greeted I was lost for words Ian just turned into a cybertronian "Were you going to tell us you are a cybertronian?" I asked "Ratchet knew since he scanned me but no I was not planning on it. I just wanted to see if I can feel anything in my real form" Ian explained

"I don't understand Ian why hide from us?" I asked "Optimus as you can see I look exactly like IronHide right I didn't need people to think I was him and plus to IronHide and Ratchet point of view I'm a decepticon nothing more" Ian said

"What do you mean?" I asked I don't see a decepticon signal on my radar and looking at him I don't see a decepticon symbol on him either "You see before I left Cybertron I was forced to be a decepticon if I didn't do as Megatron said he would use a newly developed virus on IronHide and Ratchet so I joined so I can keep them safe but that's not how they saw it" Ian said

I stayed quiet to let him continue "They yelled at me calling me a traitor  and asked how could I do that to them, mind you I've never fought I just made weapons I think what truly broke me is when Hide said he doesn't consider me family anymore so I did the one thing no one thought I would do I blocked all my bonds and escaped Cybertron" Ian said

"What is your true name Ian?" I asked I was sad and mad, sad of what Megatron did to him and mad at IronHide and Ratchet for what they said to him "It's Ironblade sir" Ian- Ironblade said

I nodded "I'm sorry you had to go through all that" I apologized "I don't see why your apologizing it was a long time ago. I crashed here and met Will's parents who loved me as their own I don't mind what happened to me since well I can't feel anything" Ironblade said

I winch at his blankness I pulled him into a hug at first he seemed lost for words but now he just hugged back "Optimus please don't tell anyone what you heard from me" Ironblade said "Why don't you want them to know the truth?" I asked

"I do but it's hard to stay in my cybertronian form The Decepticon Scientist Shockwave by Megatron's orders did something to my spark it makes it hard to stay cybertronian and hurts to much up onto a point where I forced to transform back into vehicle mode" Ironblade said

I looked at him "All the more reason to tell the others" I said Ironblade sighed "I don't know Optimus what if.....what if they hate me?" Ironblade asked "They'll have to get through me then" I said

Before Ironblade can say anything my commlink went off "Ratchet to Optimus do you read?" "I hear you Ratchet something wrong?" "No but according to the radar there's an unknown cybertronian signal very near where you are" *Frag!* I thought "Ok Ratchet tell the others to stay away I have this handled the bot will be joining us soon" I said looking directly at Ironblade who just looked  down and nodded

"Ok Prime do I need to get the medbay ready?" "Yes according to the bot Shockwave did something to his Spark making it hard to stay in bot form" I said I hear Ratchet grumbled something "Ok Prime is the mech or femme coming with you?" "Yes he is we're on our way now" I said "Ok Optimus over and out" we cut the connection "Now they know there's a new bot coming" I said

"Ok Optimus I trust you but if everything goes wrong I'm leaving until it all settles" Ironblade said I nodded "Do you want to drive or walk?" I asked (remember they are on an island) "A walk doesn't sound bad I think" Ironblade said "Then let's roll" I said

(Ironblade pov)

I walked after Optimus I see the base coming soon all the bots were outside including IronHide, Ratchet, and the Terror Twins. As we got closer I sense something from those four *Shock that's what I'm sensing* I thought

"IronBlade?" I hear IronHide question I looked at him with a blank look "Hello Hide" I said "Ian!?" Most of the bots yelled I covered my audio receptors(ears) for a few seconds waiting for them to calm down

"Enough!" Optimus ordered, I uncovered my audio receptors "Yeah? That's me" I said "My own twin was near me the whole time. Damn it! IronBlade I was looking for you everywhere when you blocked your side of the bond" IronHide said

"You remember what you said so I did what I thought would make you happy" I said "I was mad Blade! I didn't mean any of it" IronHide said "Still Hide it hurt now look emotionless because of what you and Ratchet said" I said

"Blade..." Ratchet said but stopped himself he looked down the others were looking between the three of us "I'm disappointed in you two IronHide, Ratchet" Optimus said "We know sir" both said Ratchet then asked "Blade I understand you blocking me and IronHide but what about the twins you blocked them as well, why did you block them too?"

"I figured that's the safest way to keep everyone from finding me I'm tired of war tired of being used I just wanted everyone to leave me alone. Plus I didn't want them to feel my pain and blankness that slowly ate away at me" I said

"Sire we missed you" Sideswipe said as he and Sunstreaker hugged me "I wish I can say the same thing but I can't feel anything" I said but I still returned their hug without knowing it (but everyone can see it) I was crying "Sire if you can't feel anything why are you crying?" Sunstreaker asked

"I'm crying? I don't feel sad though" I said but I can clearly feel my faceplates(cheeks) are getting wet from my tears I wiped one servo against my face I turned my head in not understanding as I see my servo is also wet from my tears

"Maybe you seeing us made it happen" Sideswipe said "If that's true then why didn't it happen when we first saw each other?" I asked "I don't it was just a guess" Sideswipe said

"Blade Optimus said Shockwave did something to your Spark?" Ratchet asked "Yes I don't remember what though the last time I looked at my Spark it looked fine to me at least" I said

"Come on then we're going to the medbay to see what's wrong with your Spark" Ratchet said as he grabbed my servo and basically dragged me to the medbay "Ok Ratchet" I said "I'm going to put up under so you don't feel any pain ok?" Ratchet said once we were in the medbay "Ok Ratchet" I said I felt a needle prick then everything thing went dark
