~ Tales of Coy and the demon ~

Chip gave Coy some shorts and a T-shirt with a pair of running shoes ,,Remember, it's okay if you lose. Atleast we had fun" She smiled ,,I'll be proud of you no matter what, but I still believe on you very much" She gave him a hug. ,,Aw thank you mo-" He shaked his head ,,--Chip" He corrected himself and laughed nervously. He went to change and he was on his way to the first game. He unfortunately tripped over his own tail and fell ,,Haha loser!" Some kids laughed at him. ,,I'm sorry what's so funny" Chip went to pick Coy up. ,,I'm sorry shorty, are you his mother?" One of the kids smirked. Chip's horns grew and her wings appeared ,,I'm sorry i didn't hear you" She growled at them. The kids got scared and ran away, after that her wings and horns again disappeared ,,Don't worry, you were good. You were almost at the finishing line" She gave him some support. ,,You're good at swimming am I right? ,,Yup!" He nodded. ,,Then you have an easy victory in this one!" She smiled and gave him a bottle of water so he can drink a bit. In the next game he won, he showed those kids who's the best. Chip was happy. Then there was a break between the 2 games and the final race. So Chip and Coy had enough time to gain some energy, on the way to the last game Chip seemed down but Coy didn't realise, so he went on the race. The race was around the whole city, who would be able to complete whole 3 circles would win. Chip watched from a far and she leaned her head and put it on the fence, looking sad. Coy saw her and felt bad, he promised to himself he will win the race so he can make Chip happy..

Few minutes have passed and 1 last circle is remaining to Coy but a boy outruns him ,,On your left fish boy" He chuckled and ran away. At this time he was pretty pissed, he was able to transform into his artic fox Form and ran over to the finish. He was faster than the boy who outran him and he won the games! He got a golden medal right from the city guardian, he thanked them and went after Chip to show off. She was mumbling something to herself, she was sitting on the roof.

TW vents and rants

She sighed ,,Wish I could just get out of my head and forget about it. I'm the one who brings it forward, I'm the one who keeps bringing it up.." she pressed her face againts her hands. ,,Why can't I just fotget-" ,,Chip?" Coy came up to her and she almost fell off the roof. ,,I- hey Coy.. I- um-" She stuttered. ,,Ya have something ya wanna talk about?" He sat next to her. ,,Nah.. it's pretty much normal behaviour at this point, my stories seem top ordinary to me."

Back to normal 

,,I saw you won by the way. I knew you'll do it, I'm very proud of you little one" She slightly smiled. Coy hugged her and she hugged him back ,,We should get going, we could get some rest in the next city, how does that sound?" She looked at him and Coy agreed. They got off the roof and headed to the exit.. but someone jumped in front of them ,,Hey there.. where are you two going?" A girl came up to them. ,,We're going to the forest city-" Coy gulped. The woman was looking at them for a while and then attempted the stab Chip ,,We'll see about that" but before she had a chance to charge at her the city guardian showed up and growled loudly on her, protecting those 2.. that scared her so she ended up running away.. ,,Phew.." Chip held Coy in her arms. They both thanked the guardian and they were on their way. They get to know the only way is to get out is a waterfall-like lift. They hop on and they were brought down..
