"I am holding on to God’s promises, focusing on serving the Lord and growing deeper in my relationship with Him."

     Kendra Aguirre, also known as 'The Indestructible Total Performer', reached one of her dreams on Sunday, August 16, 2020 as she was named as one of the four Grand Winners of The Voice Teens Season 2 from Team Sarah.

     Kendra Aguirre is just 13 years old when she joined The Voice Teens Season 2. She is the youngest among the teen artists who passed the blind audition. She lives in Las Piñas City. She loves singing, playing the piano, and writing songs. Some of her compositions are 'Life These Days' and 'Where's The Hope?'. She wants to become a successful singer/artist, and to be recognized by her God-given talent since she was younger. I can't explain how good Kendra is. She always amaze me not only in her performances, but also in interacting with other people especially in her supporters.

     Before joining The Voice Teens, her life was normal. She has a routine that she is doing everyday. "My life before The Voice Teens was normal. I’d go to School, go to a Youth Service every week, go to Sunday Services, serve in Church, repeat. I would always be playing the piano, writing songs, and training," she said.

     She also represented the Philippines in The World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) 2019 in Long Beach, California and she was able to win three medals in Broadway, RnB, Original Works With Accompaniment, and also reached the semi-finals.

     After winning The Voice Teens, she admits that her life right now is peaceful. She continues to train, write songs, play piano, and go on with her regular hobbies. One of the goals that she's fulfilling now is to continuously be a Witness of God's Grace. She's holding on to God’s promises, focusing on serving the Lord and growing deeper in her relationship with Him.

She's living with the 2 verses from the Bible, Joshua 1:9 and Romans 12:2 and this is what it says;

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” --‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:2‬

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
--Joshua‬ ‭1:9‬

     "My message sa mga kabataan tulad ko, wag po magpakain sa pressure ng mundo. Do not be conformed to this world. Focus on eternal things, and stay true to yourself," Kendra stated. She wants to make the teens like her become a good person living with God in their hearts. She wants to prove that living in God's way is the best decision that you will make in this world. She is thankful because of the blessings that she is receiving and she have her supporters giving her motivation and encouragement. She truly love her supporters.

     She is really blessed because of what she achieved, and she can't get it without God in her heart and life. She is grateful and her heart is filled with love and peacefulness, rejecting negative thoughts. God is really powerful for giving His children a life full of joy, love, and faithfulness to Him. Kendra never tired trusting God, and she will continue his life embracing God's promises.
