Thewhite dress of her's was ironic. She died for peace, but did she succeed inachieving it? The blood seeped through her gown staining it red just like thesunset. Agape! My sister was falling onto the ground fading slowly into theessence of her purity. The fountain of life sprouting like a never ending riverof chilly ice cold water. The ground paving way for it down the valley, spreading all over the earth caressing and nurturing every plant, pebble andliving being in its path. Her face held nothing but serenity, a smile on herrosy lips, her blue eyes calm as the sea before storm. Her lips moved and shewhispered, "Eros! Beware her, your downfall.", her eyes closed and the lastbreath left her chest. She faded out and her essence scattered rendering thesurroundings to be full of purity and the divine light left from her enteringStorge. Honestly, even though I was overcome with grief it stung to know thather presence will always be with Storge even when I was her favourite brotherand I got nothing. And that is why they always say that love of family is pureand indefinite whereas romantic love is nothing but deceit. Such raw pain andagony, it was something I had never experienced. L knew that I would never bethe same after killing my own sister. Storge looked right into my eyes andsaid, "If you ever come in front of me ever again, I swear I'll kill you withno regret at all. You are no longer welcome to our house." I was too emotionally drained to even muster up a reply. As I was lost in my misery, a beautiful woman approached me and said, "Eros! What happened?" She was Erida. When did she come here, I thought to myself, but she seemed to have heard it. She simply smiled and said, "I've been here since Storge and you started fighting." Was she somehow influencing everything? But I was way too hurt to contemplate and analyse. I was a man of fallen pride, cast away from all like a fallen angel. And there she was welcoming me with her eyes full of concern and a bit of love. I rushed into her arms but feeling none of the expected warmth. Chilly rage emancipated from her body and every touch of her's felt like scalding poison. She suddenly pushed me away and said, "Eros!" I looked at her, both of our arms looked as if we've been through a celestial fire, we were opposite agreed, but to think that our touch was poison to each other, like combining matter and anti-matter was a thought to large to consider and kind of sad. Her eyes were filled with tears as if it was slowly dawning on her too. She said, "I know we can't touch even by mistake ever again, but will you be my friend? I'm always alone roaming everywhere. No one wants me ever whereas you all are welcomed or even summoned desperately." I felt pity for her, the grief in her voice sounded as if she was making a valiant effort to hide something but failing. I said, "Sure Erida! I would love if you accompany me to the next place." Was I making a huge mistake or a friend to last eons?
