Our jet just landed, I called Maria (Kendall mom) to come get us. She still live here in Chicago, why? I don't know y'all have to ask her. "Come on Laylay." I said getting up. "I'm so tired of people wakng me up." Laylay said with an attitude. "Girl, hush you acting like you work a 9 to 5 hour job." I said laughing. Since I didn't grab us no suitcases or anything I just got off the plane. "I do work 9 to 5 job, I hav too wok to look lik tis." Laylay said outlining her body. I laughed, "Lea'Lani you is a mess." I said holding her hand. I seen Maria car pull up, she parked and got out
"Hola mi preciosa angel." Maria said once she saw us. I hugged her.
Translation: Hey my lovely Angel
"Hey mamá, te acuerdas de Laylay." I said pulling back from the hug.
Translation: Hey momma, you remember Laylay
"Por supuesto, ¿cómo podría olvidarme de mi hija real?" She said hugging Laylay.
Translation: Of course how could i forget about my royal child
Lea'Lani name means "royal child" in Hawaiian.
"Hey ms Maria." Laylay said hugging her back.
"Mi amor te dije que me puedes llamar abuela, no tienes que decir señora maria." Maria said getting in the car.
Translation: My love i told you that you can call me granny, you don't have to say ms.Maria
"Bien abuela." Laylay said getting in the back seat.
Translation: Alright granny
Laylay learned Spanish over the past few months she understands most of it just not all of it.
"A donde?" Maria asked starting the car
Translation: where too
"Quiero ver si este lugar está tan abierto rápido, entonces podemos volver a mi condominio." I said buckling my seatbelt because she drives fast as I don't know what. I then put the address Mahki gave into the GPS.
