So much for a SOUL| Chapter 13

There was no one around so let their guard down, there weren't any signs obviously but they could only go straight forward, Kris lead the way with Ralsei and Toriel following them. They went down the passage way and after a while they found themselves in a maze, Kris calls them on their device.

Master: We've just dropped off the others, what do you need?

Kris: It's a maze.

Ralsei: I guess you could say it's not a-mazing!

Toriel: Hahahahahahahahaha! that's a good one!

Kris: (Great, stuck with two joke tellers)

Master: A maze?

Octavius: I heard about this maze.

Kris: You have?

Octavius: Yeah, it changes position every minute, all the walls change positions, so once you're in and it changes then it's hard to get out.

Kris: So a maze that changes every minute not allowing anything to get out?

Octavius: Yep.

Kris: Great, can't you scan it and tell us where to go?

Master: I'll try, but it's no promise.

Master tries to scan the maze but it can't connect to it.

Master: No I can't, you can't scan the space station, I guess it's why it's so secure no one can scan it.

Kris: Great, I guess we'll walk around hopelessly then.

Master: Seems like it, I'll go warn the others.

Kris ended the call and all of this time Ralsei and Toriel had been telling each other jokes and making each other laugh, Kris just stared at them.

Kris: You guys done?

Toriel: S-sorry, I haven't laughed like this for so long.

Ralsei: Any luck?

Kris: Nope, the whole thing can't be scanned.

Ralsei: Can't we only turn right or left?

Kris: It won't work, the maze moves every minute.

Ralsei: We could try it.

Kris: If we do then we'll have to run as we only have a minute.

Ralsei: A minute? I think we can get out in time.

Kris: So the plan is, I put my hand on one of the walls, as soon as the maze changes we run as fast as we can, don't lose sight of me as I'm quite a fast runner, everyone ready?

Ralsei: Yep!

Toriel: Seeing as it's our only chance, why not try.

Kris: Great! then we'll start when the maze changes again.

Kris puts their hand on the wall, they all get ready to run, the mazes changes and they run for their life. Kris runs as fast as possible with their hand against the wall, Ralsei and Toriel manage to keep up. 10 seconds left and they can see the exit, Kris knows they're not going to make it so as soon as it gets to 1 second and they get to the exit, Kris pushes Toriel and Ralsei in front of them out of the exit while Kris is on the other side.

Ralsei: We made it! good job Kris! Kris?

Kris: I didn't make it.

Ralsei: Kris!

Toriel: Kris! we can't leave you here!

Kris: Don't worry, i'll find a way out.

Ralsei: Wait, how did we get out? we were behind you.
