Prologue: Mysterious New Character

I cried and I cried and then I stopped crying.

Because nobody helped me.

I dragged my feet along, dried tears on my face, crusting up my cheeks. I was beaten in several places, and my feet were bleeding from all the walking I'd done. My long black hair was matted with hair. My originally curvy body was thin and starved. My black eyes were lost, and they shown no light.

I called myself Fumei Muko. It means Unknown Void.

There is a reason for this.

I don't know who I am.

Other than what I look like, that's all I know. That's why I made up my name. When I first woke up, I'd been at a tree, and it'd felt like I had just been revived, or something like that. I had wandered around, trying to find out if anyone knew me.

No one knew me.

In fact, the only ones who claimed to know anything were the ones that mugged me, beat me up, or one time, raped me.

Now I had no money, no chastity, and no food.

No one would help me. So I stopped crying.

Who was I?

Why was I abandoned?

Why is no one kind?

Please... Somebody!!!!

Save me.....

I fell to the ground, about to faint.

"Are you okay?" I heard the slightly concerned, but mostly monotonous voice. I looked up.

"My name is Gaara. Everything will be alright now." He assured me. He had red hair.

My chest hurt looking at him.

I started to sob.

He picked me up, and started walking slowly through the sandy desert.
