Chapter 11 "Gift for mikey"

Izumi POV

I was walking Puffy the puppy i saved six years ago and is now my pet and friend to the dog park where he loves to play as i was walking him back home i was planning on buying some nice milkshake when i stumbled upon baji and kazutora on the bench

"Hey look its Izumi chan!" Baji waved at me to come sit next to them they were just talking about what to get for mikey birthday....come to think of it..yeah its almost gonna be his birthday now..hmm what can we get him...."soo what do you wanna get him for his birthday Izumi?" Baji asked and i thought for a moment but soon passed by and i still have no clue what to get him "well...us either...we dont have anything to give him..no clue" kazutora shoulder flops down in defeat and sighs i patted his head to cheer him up and smiled
"Hey its gonna be fine dont give up yet! Its still a few weeks ahead! There is plenty of time to choose" with a little more encouragement from me and baji kazutora finally smiled and both me and baji grinned at him
"See? Thats the spirit!" Baji exclaimed and patted his back..more like slap though since kazutora coughed and we all laughed together

"You know Izumi its really fun hanging out with you!" Kazutora looked and me and grinned baji hummed and nodded im agreement as he grins showing his fangs i smiled at the two and thank them

In the end though we still havent figured out what to give mikey we have neem searching around the entire places of shops but still nothing  and i've been trying to avoid talking about motorcycles or bikes and stuff...we walked back home and until we have reached up to the sano residence they dropped me off and went on to their own homes "im home!" I called out and Izana came out from the kitchen "Welcome back Izumi! How was your day?" I told him that i bumped into baji and Kazutora one of mikey's friends and the three of us wondered all around the shops to search for a gift for mikey but still no clue what to give him, he chuckled and patted my head

"mikey isnt the type of guy who wont accept a gift from very important people in his life and that includes you guys" i...didnt honestly expect him to say that! In the original time line he would have said something like 'I'll Destroy you and your friends mikey!' yeah something like that but its the comeplete opposite that what i habe expected! Thank the heavens his starting to step away from the darkness

I stared blankly and dumbfounded by what he said "uhh..is there something on my face?" He asked hesitantly and kakucho snorted at the back
"Yeah its your burnt skin" kakucho commented and when Izana heard veins popped out from his head as he slowly turned to face Kakucho
'Uh oh....run kaku!' I silently told kakucho but Izana was already chasing him around i just sighed and laughed at them, Emma, mikey and Grandpa went down to see the ruckus
But i told them its fine its just the two making chaos again 

Baji POV

Earlier on we were talking about getting something for mikey until Kazutora said he has an idea
To steal a bike in a bike shop? Is he nuts?! Why would he try to steal isnt that bad?? I tried to talk things out to him that there must be some other way to find a gift for mikey but sadly our pockets and wallets are not gonna be of use to us for now

We saw Izumi walking puffy her dog around the park "Hey lets ask Izumi if she has any idea what to give mikey" i told him he was a bit hesitant at first but just plays along and it was no use
Even izumi doesnt have a clue what to get him...but in the end though we did have fun looking around shops and stuff but all those stuffs doesnt satisfy Kazutora at all...he really wanted to buy Mikey a gift for his birthday...

He tries to keep on convincing me to help me steal a bike in a bike shop until i finally said yes with no choice
Tomorrow night...we will steal a bike for mikey..i was excited and Nervous at the same time..but i also want to do this for mikey and just as desperate as kazutora on giving him a present

Izumi POV

After i washed the dishes i went upstairs and was getting ready to bed but Kakucho pulled my shirt "hey..can i talk to you for a moment Izumi?" He was averting his eyes when he asked me and in a small catch of glimpes i saw grandpa, shinichiro, emma, Izana and mikey near the corner and deadpanned at them pretending not to see a thing i focused on kakucho
"Hmm? What is it kakucho?"
I asked and he nervously looked at me and handed me a letter and quickly ran away from me into the bathroom

"Is he that nervous that he had to piss himself off??" I heard Izana and silently snorted at what he said
I then looked at the letter he gave me and smiled i'll probably read this later
And went back to the room

{Timeskip}

I was at the Dojo training with emma, mikey, Izana and Grandpa but i havent seem kakucho since yesterday he didnt even went back to our shared rooms together with Izana and i heard he slept with mikey instead...weird..."Huh?...why isnt big bro kakucho training with us today?" Emma said as she drank from her water bottle "i was thinking of the same thing...i havent seen him since yesterday" i commented..i was really getting worried about his behavior these passing days...what on earth is happening??

Time flies so fast and its already going to be night time and dinner and still...no sign of Kakucho...what on earth is wrong with that kid???
I was overthinking too much i didnt even notice Shinichiro bumping into me "oof...sorry about that- ...hey Izumi..you've been spacing out are you okay?" He asked and i just forced a smile and told him im just tired as all and was planning on going to bed soon and then he told me that he will be out in a moment to go check on his shop and i bid him farewell as he went on his way outside and i continued on with what im doing..a moment have past and i checked my phone and then..it hits me....baji and kazutora have been acting strange lately and now shinichiro is going to his bike shop!..he was wearing a white T-shirt!! Why on Earths name havent i noticed it?!

"Its...August.....14..." No....damn it! I have to hurry! I quickly went and grabbed my jacket and havent even have the time to explain to anyone where im going i kept on running and running
