IRIS' POV NOT EDITED
We drove in silence. I had no idea where we were going, but what I did know was that everytime we get out of town, it's always fun. I look out the car window. So peaceful. The sky dark as black fur, the stars glued to the black sky like diamonds on fur. Why can't my house, my family, my life be peaceful like that night sky.
" Iris? " says Rain, which brings me back to reality.
" Yea?"
" umm.. "
" umm, what? Just tell me Rain, you know I could handle whatever you say. "" Can you handle that I'm.. that I'm gay? "
" You are gay. Why did you not tell me sooner Rain, I am happy for you. And duhh I can handle you being gay. "
" You will still love me and not look at me differently?"
" No I would not look at you differently. I will always love you. I also kinda figured that you were."
" okay good. How did you possibly know I was gay?"
" Well, you were always pointing out my outfits, like " Iris, that shirt don't match your boots. And darken your eyeshadow a bit. and other little things. "
He chuckles, " I remember when I said that. By the way, your boots kinda don't match your outfit. "
" hey! "
" just saying. "
" anyways, do you have a boyfriend? "
" no, not yet. "
" yet? "
" yea, I will eventually get my own boyfriend. "
I chuckle. " okay. "
We drive in silence to our destination, well his Rain's destination, which is a house, a pretty big house.
" who's house is this Rain? "
" oh my grandmas, she's probably sleeping. We can just go through the window. "
" Okay, but why are we at your grandmas house? "
" you ask a lot of questions "
