"Moonstone? Moonstone!" A high pitched voice cried out into the forest. The creature stood in a large crater surrounded by wreakage from the ship crash. The creature had a feminine like appearence and looked quite young. Around 12 years old to a human. Her skin was a bright yellow and her hair was blood orange. She had an oval shaped sunstone gem on the palm of her right hand. This creature was called a Gem.
"Sunstone?" a slightly deeper voice called out. "I'm over here!" it called from under a peice of metal. This gem had a more masuline appearence and looked to be the same age as Sunstone. He had light sky blue colored skin and navy colored hair. His gem was an oval shaped gem as well, only on the palm of his left hand. "Can you help me out? My foot is caught under this metal..."
"Yeah, I'm coming" Sunstone responded. She quickly ran over to her stuck companion. After a few seconds she had managed to pull him free. "You alright?" she asked once he was standing.
"Yeah, I'm good. What about you?"
"Yeah, I'm ok. What happened with the ship?"
"We ran out of fuel... This was the only planet I could land on, er, crash on..."
"Well, at least it doesn't seem to be a Gem inhabited planet. There isn't any technology advanced enough for it to be. At least none around here. We'd be arrested by now."
"True. C'mon. Lets look around and see if there are any parts we can use to rebuild the ship... We can probably find at least SOMETHING to use for the rest on this planet." Moonstone finished as he began sorting through the mass of metal.
Meanwhile, a few miles away Dipper and Mabel stared out at the night sky through the window of their room in the attic of the Mystery Shack. They were staring in awe at the area where they had just seen some sort of alien spacecraft crashland in the woods. Dipper was the first of the two twins to jump down from thier perch.
"Mabel! We have to go check it out! Hurry!" he yelled as he threw on his cap and his vest with his journal. Without hesitation Mabel leaped down after him grabbing her grappling hook. Together the two twins made sure Grunkle Stan was fast asleep on his chair in the living room, and rushed out the door. After about 30 minutes of walking they came across the wreak.
"Helllllooooooo?" Mabel yelled into the crater. "Anybody homeeeeeee?" Dipper threw a hand over her mouth.
"Quiet!" He wispered to his sister. "What if they don't like us?" Dipper then removed his hand from his twins mouth and quietly slid into the hole. He had barely been looking around the wreak for a minute when he heard a voice similar to his sister's behind him. "Who,and what for that matter, are you and what do you want? Also, how is it that you look so much like my companion?" Dipper slowly turned around to see his twin pointing a bright yellow bow and arrow at his head.
"Mabel?" He questioned confused as he looked at what he thought to be his twin.
"Who?" The creature asked, confused, not moving her weapon. Only then did Dipper realize the yellow skin and orange hair. Not to mention the very different outfit. This thing was wearing a sundress that matched the color of her hair. "What, can you understand me? Answer my question!"
"I-I'm Dipper... I-I'm a human... W-What are you?"
"Oh, you're just a human." The thing sighed with relief, completely disregarding his question. With a poof the bow and arrow dissapeared. "So, if you're a human than the planet we are on is Earth, correct?"
"Y-yes?"
"Good."
"Hey Dipper!" Mabel called from the other side of the crater, "Can I come down?" The creature turned and stared at Dipper again. "You have another with you?"
"Y-yes... She's my twin, Mabel."
"Your what?"
"M-My twin... We're from the same parents and born on the same day..."
"Interesting... Very well, let her down."
"Mabel? Yeah, you can come!" A few seconds later Mabel was at Dipper's side, staring in confusion at the creature.
"Is it just me or are there two of me here?"
"No, this is the thing we saw crash, or at least the only one I saw..."
"Amazing!" the thing exclaimed, "You look exactly like my companion and I together! Moonstone, come look! Look at these humans!" After a few moments another thing turned the corner. Moonstone, as the other creature had called it, looked almost exactly like a blue Dipper with no hat and in some kind of aqua thin space suit with no helmet. After both Dipper and Moonstone did a double take did they cautiously approach eachother.
"What... What are you?" Dipper asked Moonstone as he flipped through his journal.
"I am a Gem. I come from Homeworld. I see quite obviously that you are a human."
"But what are you doing here?"
"That I would not like to go into at this moment."
"Ok... Well, who's she?" Dipper asked pointing to the other Gem.
"That is my companion, Sunstone."
"So you aren't related?" Moonstone gave him a very confused look.
"Related?"
"Yeah, like have the same parents?"
"Gems do not have relatives, but I guess you could say we are close enough to be, what did you call them? Relatives..."
"Hey Dipping Sauce!" Mabel called from where she was talking to Sunstone. " Can these guys crash with us? We're like, the same people! It would be AWESOME!"
"We do need a place to stay while we repair our ship!" Sunstone called with a very different attitude then before. Dipper paused to think for a moment and looked at Moonstone. Dipper rolled his eyes and responded' "Yeah. I guess. We just need to find a way to sneak them passed Stan."
"Is this Stan like your ruler?" Sunstone asked.
"Well, in a way. We can explain later..." Dipper responded.
"To the Mystery Shack!" Mabel yelled. Quickly, they all crawled out of the crater and began to walk back to the shack.
