Why did I choose a famous emo line for this chapter? Because there will be ANGST in this chapter!

Also here is why Heeseung isn't in the story yet: He took his surgery like IRL and is currently recovering in the hospital but he'll appear for the party!

"So... did you get to practice your ice skating yesterday, penguin?" Sunoo asked.

Sunghoon tried to hide a blush. "Y-Yeah. I think I'm getting on a professional's level now." Sunoo and Niki briefly stared at each other before nodding.

Sunghoon decided not to tell his friends that he was with Jungwon, because they obviously hate him based on the fact that they keep telling him that he should "never judge a book by it's cover alone" and more stuff like "stay away from him because he's a huge jerk who'll treat you badly". From what he's heard from random people, Jungwon is a cold and heartless guy who doesn't care about anyone's feelings, and a reckless guy who doesn't seem afraid of anything. But Sunghoon remembered the Jungwon from yesterday. Jungwon wasn't a jerk at all and he even treated him kindly and gently. He also seemed to have a pretty good relationship with his friends, seeing how supportive they were of Jungwon. (And unafraid to tease him, too).

Plus, he remembered their time together in the ice rink. Instead of recklessly getting into the rink despite knowing absolutely nothing about ice skating, he watched Sunghoon attentively first, and when he actually decided to go in the rink, he went in slowly and carefully.

Sunghoon's heard that some bad boys were just misunderstood. Maybe Jungwon was like that, too. A misunderstood bad boy.

After all, you should never judge a book by it's cover alone.

Unbeknownst to him, Sunoo and Niki were suspicious about his strange behavior...

----

Jungwon suddenly felt his phone vibrate. He grabbed it from his pocket. It was a message. He wondered who sent it. It could his brother complaining once again about how his 7 older friends are probably insane- or Jay or Jake (maybe both) causing chaos in their group chat. Or maybe Sunghoon, who always says hi and asked him about his day, because he's so sweet.

Nope, it wasn't from either of them. Instead, it was from an unknown number that simply said "Meet us at the fountain at lunch."

Jungwon gulped nervously, quickly realizing who it was. This can't be how I die, he thought.

Who could've told the couple? Jeongin was really good at keeping secrets, plus he doesn't attend the same school as him. Jay and Jake were threatened into not telling anyone. Sunghoon knew about his friends hating him and pinkie promised that he wouldn't tell them. There's no way that it could be either of them.

He decided that they most likely figured it out on their own. Since cockblockers like them are always so scarily smart.

Not like it mattered, because he was gonna die either way.

----

"Yo, mate, don't you think it's weird?" Jake asked.

"Huh? What's weird?" Jay asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Jungwon never misses lunch. And the message he sent us was pretty sus. 'Not coming'? That's it? He usually sends long messages." Jake says, scratching his chin with thought.

"Now that I think about, you're right. That is pretty sus..."

"E-Excuse me?" A voice said.
