Beep Beep I grabbed my alarm clock which had a flashing red 5:30 on it. I got out of bed slowly before I heard it "Stephen dammit let that dog out!" I sighed then in the darkness searched for my boots then got up. I walked in the darkness till I felt the light switch then turned it on. Light flooded the room I got in my closet and grabbed some jeans and a white tee shirt. I put them on then walked into the hallway then I heard the barks of my parents dog. I opened the door to their bedroom which was at the end of the flat we lived in. The dog bolted out of the room. I flipped the light on in the living room which revealed two couches and a little box TV which sat on a media console. The kitchen sat in the back of the flat and a stereo system sat in the middle of the flat where our dining room was. I saw my parents pug panting at the door. I grabbed the leash off of the coffee table, then walked to the door and threw on my coat which was black leather. I walked down the tiled floored hallway where we lived on the bottom floor of a huge flat complex. I walked into the lobby which turned into brown carpet. I walked up to the receptionist desk and grabbed a paper then walked outside. It was October of 1990 and freezing in the UK. I walked out into the little yard under a street lamp. The dog did its business then I walked back to the flat.

I opened the door to go back in then I heard "You son of a.....Stephen go walk that dog and come back in an hour and pack a bag." I backed up as footsteps approached the door then my dad stormed through it. "Bloody woman, it was just my secretary. What are you looking at, you lazy sod." His accent was thick and Irish. I replied "Nothing sir." He then slugged me in the chest hard then he grabbed the dog and ran off. I fell to the ground and my chest throbbed in pain. My mother just screamed and swore at the top of her lungs I got up and walked into the flat there was blood everywhere. I saw my mother was covered in blood then I looked at her stomach where her hands were pushing. She was a plump woman with brown hair and green eyes but right now she looked like a child. Groggily she said "call 999" I ran and slipped into the wall, I lifted the receiver and dialed 999. The phone rang, then a person answered and I told them what I knew. They said "They are on their way." I dropped the phone and started going through drawers till I found the white linen napkins my mom spent a fortune on. I grabbed them then ran back to her and moved her hands which revealed a gunshot wound. I then pressed the napkin on top of the wound. Minutes, hours it felt like but after 15 minutes the police and paramedics broke into the flat. My mother began screaming "He did this to me the damn kerr." She then pointed at me then a police officer came up to me. She had big brown eyes and black curly hair. I then said "I'll go but please don't cuff me." She nodded, then I followed her. Once in the hallway she asked "Who actually did it?" I replied, "My Father left, he's probably headed downtown." She then said "I know you didn't do it since you were administering first aid. I'm Dex by the way." I replied "Stephen." She took me out to her patrol car and put me in the back seat and then said "I'll take you downtown and help you fill out the paperwork then we'll go to your usual hangout which is Bornloft's right." I replied "How do you know all of this?" She replied "Because I worked there right after your dad beat you the first time. I'll buy you some new clothes by the way." I sat there in shock then asked "Why would you help me though?" she then laughed then said "Because your band rocks man." I snickered then said "You came saw us. Makes sense now." We pulled up to the precinct in Victoria park which was a massive new building. I got out the car and she came over to me and sighed slightly "I have to put the cuffs on you but I'll put them on you lightly." she reached into her belt next to her handgun and pulled the handcuffs out. Grrrrr I turned and saw him my father barreling down at me then a flash of my vision occurred. The whole area turned grey then I saw my father but he was creature like looking. I then began to speak "I command the Asmodeus! Demon of rage and lusts to return to Hell in the name of Jesus!" The light flashed and Dex was stunned so was every police officer who sitting outside. My father who was a slightly heavy set guy with blue eyes and dirty blonde hair was on the ground, his clothes slightly ripped from hitting the ground. I fell back into the car and blacked out.

I awoke at my band's practice room. I got up and the lights were out. I got up my eyes adjusting to the lighting. I could hear a train outside so a bit of light shined through one of the boarded up windows. I walked to a wall and tripped on an Amp. I got up but as soon as I did the lights blinded me. Dex stood there in the doorway she was wearing black boots, blue jeans, and a white t shirt which read Sex Pistols. I found the wall which was lined with foam. I was next to the drums and the electric guitar Amp. She then began "What happened?" She looked at me and motioned me towards our song writing table. I sat down, my eyes still adjusting. She sat down after I did then began "He confessed he killed your mother and gave over the murder weapon." She paused, then I said "My mother's dead then?" It came out of my mouth so nonchalantly. She then said "Yes she denied it and told us that you had cursed her and your band would probably bring her back up at a seance." I chuckled whilst holding tears back. "We are a new kind of music called Christian rock because she despised us. We wrote a song and prayed for her." I then broke into tears but then quit just as fast as I started then began praying for her. Dex joined in then after a few minutes went by she said "I can leave if you'd like?" I replied "I enjoy the company so please stay."
