i stared off into the sunset. vibrant oranges and pinks streaked the sky as i gazed into the golden sky. as i looked over towards my right side, i saw the tall, handsome, dark-haired man sitting beside me. his hand grasped mine. i could see the warm smile on his face. i smiled back, then i turned back to the beautiful sunset. to my surprise, the beautiful colors had faded into a dim blue. nevertheless, any sky was lit up by a thousand stars for me when i was with him. how luscious his gaze stared into- 

the blaring sound of an alarm clocked startled me awake. i sighed in disappointment that the previous scenario was a dream. "aawww.." i reached over to my nightstand and hit the snooze button, making a satisfying click sound. i turned around in my bed to see zhongli, slightly chuckling. "you seemed quite happy last night, were you dreaming about something pleasant?" i rolled my eyes, yet i couldn't help but smile. "maybe," i said, positioning myself closer to the golden-eyed man beside me. he ran his hands through my hair as i sat up next to him. "i've got to get to wangsheng, love. i hope to see you at third round knockout at lunch," zhongli said. 

he got out of bed and went to get dressed. i lied back down on my back and stared up at my ceiling fan as it spun around and around, again and again. it was something about the way he talked, how kind and gentle he was towards me. something about how strong he could be at times. something about him. the way he acted, the way he looked, everything about him. i'm so lucky to have zhongli in my life.
