It must be her house as the room felt highly familiar to her, opening her eyes, Shuan eyes glowed a bit before dimming.

Although a bit muddled and groggy, after thinking back something Shuan hurrieldy got up. She check herself out and finally, sigh in relief.

She was still wearing her grey baggy robe which means the thing behind her is well hidden.

Good grief.

When mulling over this fact, the door to her room was opened and in came the female companion which Shuan still haven't know her name of.

"Shuan, your finally awake!"

A bright smile was on her pretty face.

"Urhh yeah, how long have I slept?"

"Unconcious for one and a half day"

Shuan nod her head, thats not too long.

"Let me inform the other" with that, she hurriedly ran out to call the others.

After a short while, Balmon along with Yuluv who still have that signature cold face came in.

"Finally awake, thats good, we call the base doctor yesterday. The doctor said you exhausted your energy and will be fine after a short recuperation"

Balmon pat Shuan back and continue in gratitude "This time, its all thanks to you. By the way, here...."

It was the nuclei of the fifth rank zombie. Balmon throw at the hand of Shuan.

"I don't need it, you have it"

"No way-"

Shuan shove it back forcefully at Balmon before he could say another word.

"I cannot absorb it, it will waste on my hand"

"This...."

Looking at the uncaring Shuan and at the second rank badge on her chest he gave up.

It was a well known fact that one cannot absorb a nuclei higher than their rank or there will be combusion. One cannot swallow more then they can chew.

"You should just store away for a while and absorb after you breakthrough" still insist Balmon.

"I will just exchange it at the exchanging counter, its better if you have it"

Balmon was speechless, but seeing her serious attitude, he gave in.

But, Balmon pull out a bunch of second rank and third rank nuclei, gave it to her while demanding fiercely "If you don't accept this, I won't accept this either"

Still, all this lower rank nuclei is not worth even a fraction of the fifth rank nuclei.

Shuan just accept, too lazy to continue bantering over a mere nuclei.

"By the way, some unfortunate events seem to occur at the base farming field"

Balmon lose his smile replaced by a serious expression.

Shuan listen quietly at his detailed information.

It was about the base farming area meeting a mishap. The apocalypse started for almost half a year ago. Many plants and vegetation have undergone a mutation. But luckily. Renouned and expert scientist was able to figure out what could be eaten and what could not.

But, a days ago, the vegetable at the farm was corroded with a black miasma that suddenly sprang up from the underground.

Rrsearch was undertaken soon after but a specific result still haven't been produced.
