The next morning Benjamin sits on his bed typing away on his laptop while Emma finishes getting changed in the bathroom. When she walks out there is a knock on the door making her open it to reveal Regina, perking Benjamin's interest "Did you know the Honeycrisp tree is the most vigorous and hearty of all apple trees? It can survive temperatures as low as forty below and keep growing. It can weather any storm. I have one that I've tended to since I was a little girl. And to this day, I have yet to taste anything more delicious than the fruit it offers." Regina tells Emma, handing her an apple from her basket. "Thanks." Emma responds as Benjamin saves his work before putting his laptop down. "I'm sure you'll both enjoy them on your drive home." Regina smiles. "Actually, we're going to stay for a while." Emma explains. "I'm not sure that's such a good idea. Henry has enough issues. He doesn't need you confusing him." Regina responds. "All due respect, Madam Mayor, the fact that you have now threatened me twice in the last twelve hours makes me want to stay more." Emma tells the mayor while Benjamin listens from his bed.
"Since when were apples a threat?" Regina asks. "I can read between the lines. Sorry. I just want to make sure Henry's okay." Emma explains. "He's fine, dear. Any problems he has are being taken care of." Regina tells her. "What does that mean?" Emma questions. "It means I have him in therapy. It's all under control. Take my advice, Miss Swan. Only one of us knows what's best for Henry." Regina says, passive aggressively. "Yeah, I'm starting to think you're right about that." Emma tells her. "It's time for you to go." Regina tells her. "Or what?" Emma asks. "Don't underestimate me, Miss Swan. You have no idea what I'm capable of." Regina responds before leaving. Benjamin frowns as Emma closes the door "Somethings not right in this town." he tells her. "Don't you start." Emma glares. "Just saying. Besides I can tell when something isn't right, it's MY superpower." he smirks. "Shut up." Emma laughs shoving him playfully as they head out the door to go get breakfast, Emma taking one of the apples with her.
Benjamin sits next to Emma writing in his book while she reads the paper and eats the apple Regina gave her "Here you go." Ruby says giving them both a hot chocolate. "Thank you. But we did not order that." Emma responds. "Yeah, I know. You have an admirer." Ruby tells her. Emma turns and sees Graham at another table, she walks over and puts the cocoa in front of him "Ah, so you decided to stay." Graham comments. "Observant. Important for a cop." Emma comments while Benjamin starts drinking his hot coco, walking over to where he's spotted his nephew. Sitting down he leans over "How long til she realises that he didn't send the coco?" he whispers. "I think he's going to have to tells her." Henry smiles. "It's good news for our tourist business, it's bad for our local signage. It's... It's a joke. It's because you ran over our sign." Graham smiles. "Look, the coco was a nice gesture, and I am impressed that you guessed that I like cinnamon on my chocolate because most people don't, but I am not here to flirt. So thank you, but no thank you." Emma tells him. "I didn't send them." Graham responds. "I did. I like cinnamon, too." Henry pipes up. "Don't you have school?" Emma asks. "Duh. I'm ten. Walk me." Henry tells her. "Am I allowed to tag along?" Benjamin asks. "Obviously. We need to discuss everything." Henry smiles. Nodding Benjamin finishes his hot coco before following Emma and Henry out of Granny's.
