Soul Weapon

Intro~Chapter 1

Introduction

In the land of Crom, everyone relied on the soul to help them through their life and journeys. But there were some people who had strong souls and were able to turn it into a weapon. The weapons that these people were able to create are swords, bows and even soul arrows, spears, knifes, maces, and even more.

But out of everyone, there was one boy who seemed differant than others. He was named Elric. This child lived in Cimee which was an island out in the eastern side of Crom. His soul was the strongest in his town and everyone who knew  about him feared him. Everyone who stayed away from Elric had weak and defenseless souls. His parents, Aalis and Bran home schooled Elric and kept him inside from the "security" who would take children who had strong soul waves. Aalis, his mother, would tell everyone that her child died so that they couldn't take him away, but the towns people still had a feeling that he was still alive. Aalis and Bran were Spons. Spon is just short for people who can make soul weapons. No one knows who created it. The name just caught on somehow.

Chapter 1

Elric was sleeping in his room which was the size of an average sized bathroom. His whole house was as big as two limos put together. Cimee was really just an island full of poor exhiled Spons. Most people on the island now can't create weapons except for a handfull of peasants, like Elric's family. They don't really know about the other familes but they are all thiefs. All of a sudden, The whole house was shaking and then an explosion came after that. Elric went outside to see what was going on. Down the road was a factory where his father works,  Bran is only able to work because when he had the soul power, he never practiced using his skill. Bran's weapon was a Pike which is a really long spear. Aalis' weapon was a scythe. She is also powerful but not to get peoples attention from her soul waves. Luckily for them, Bran didn't work that day. 

Elric walked toward the factory which was burning in flames wtth ashes everywhere. Screams were being let out by the burning workers. From behind, one of the members from the Security was running toward the building until what looked like a cell-phone started to beep when he ran by Elric. He stopped and turned to him and said,

"Hah Hah. Finally I get to take a little Spon away. Hope you have fun getting your soul drained!"

Elric screamed and ran away into his house. The gaurd came banging on the door. 

"Get behind me Elric." Aalis whispered.

The guard broke in and pulled a Paralazer. It was a laser that was able to stun anyone it touches.

"Sorry Ma'am but your child must go!" the guard yelled from excitement.

"You have to get through me first.." Aalis said while she put her arm out toward the guard.

A light green transparent aura was swirling around her arm creating a scythe. The gaurd was in shock so he pointed the lazer at Aalis and her Soul weapon was blocking the beam! She raised her scythe and  and swung toward the guard and cut him in half.

"You demon". As Aalis was saying, whiping the tears from her face.

The guards body vanished completely. There was no evidence of the guard, not even blood.

"Mom what happened to him? What was that you made? What's happening?!" Elric was questioning in fear. 

"Son, We are Spons. People who can make weapons from their soul, Not everyone can do it because there soul isn't strong enough to be created into the form of a weapons. What you saw was a scythe. That is the weapon that my soul created when I was a kid like you, His body vanished because once you are killed by a soul weapon, you are automaticaly sent to the Prison of Lost Souls. It is impossile to get out of it and its located in a place we will never see with our eyes. I needed to protect you so dont be scared. Aalis was explaining about Crom and other Spons. She then talked about how they were going to move. Well, how Elric was going to move.

A month passed and it was time for Elric to live on his own and find someone to train him. His parents said their goodbyes and he went on this machine that was hovering over the water. It took most of their savings to send him away, but it was for protection. Elric boarded the hover boat and waved to his parents. Minutes later the boat wasn't in sight anymore.
