"Okay, okay. I'll go get something to drink."

The noise outside died down as I closed the entryway. I checked the time, said it was 9:34 p.m. Dang, no wonder my throat hurts. I grabbed a glass, filling it with water. It was gradually pouring as if nothing was coming out of it. That's weird. I didn't know there'd be maintenance.

I immediately hid underneath my blanket, repeating these words in my head, "If I can't see you, then you aren't real."

"You okay there?" she asked. I looked at the door, and it wasn't there anymore. I guess it was nothing at all. I smiled at my sister and laughed it all off.

"Sorry, you just scared me and all," scratching my head, my fear tone down.

"Well, I was about to tell you that no one was there and food is ready."

I got up from my bed, straightening my clothes. My sister turned around as I wore my slippers and when I took a glance at her, I was stunned. The dark figure was on her back all along. Its eyes stared intensely at me, lifting one of his hands towards me, and finally smiled.
