Zayn's Departure

Liam, Niall, Louis, and Harry knew it was going to happen. They had all been discussing it for a few weeks and it wasn't a surprise when it became official. But that didn't stop it from killing them on the inside. The week before it happened was stressful for them all.

The week before Zayn leaves

"I know we are in the middle of a tour but this is just too much guys. I can't do this anymore," Zayn said one day after the paparazzi had once again attacked them. Zayn had been planning on leaving once the tour ended but he just didn't think he could wait till then anymore. Louis turned and looked at him with a deep frown. "Louis stop. You knew I was leaving soon."

"Yea but not this soon. We thought we at least had the rest of this tour to all be together." Harry said, already tearing up at the thought of Zayn leaving.

"Haz...don't cry. It only makes me feel worse." Zayn says rubbing a hand up and down Harry's back.

"Can't you just stay until we finish touring?" Niall asks softly as he looks at Zayn with his icy blue eyes.

"Guys stop. Zayn doesn't want to leave us. You all know that. He is stressed out from all of this." Liam says trying to get the others to see logic.

"I'll miss you guys so so much but I.. This just isn't me anymore. Please understand that. I love you all. You have been my best mates...no...you all have been my brothers for five years. Me leaving the band will not change that. Ok?" Zayn says making sure to look all of them in the eye to make sure they get his point. They all nod when he looks at them. The tension in the room is still heavy. So louis decides to change that.

"Dog pile!!" He exclaims before leaping on top of Zayn. Soon they are all sprawled out on the floor laughing hysterically. It's times like this that Zayn will miss most.
