Anastacia May did not believe in the concept of falling in love. It all sounded morbid to her. She did not understand how someone could love another so much that they couldn't see their flaws. She couldn't understand how someone could trust the other so much; or how they connected so easily. But she'd be lying if she said she still didn't believe in it now. Because she did, she had found someone she loved so much that it was like he was her other half. She couldn't point out one single flaw on Tate, it was like the gods had sent an angel from the heavens.
But, just like all love stories ... theirs had to come to an end. Just not in the way you'd think. There in the winter wonderland of the frosty graveyard stood Anastacia, staring at the hard stone. A scream arised from her throat, one all the gods could hear. They watched tears fall down her cheeks, then down to the frosty white ground.
"See, I was right ..." she said with a small smile looking at the snow on the ground because she knew if she were to look at the bitter stone she would finally break. "The gods were jealous of us, that's why they separated us.¨ Anastacia was wrong, the gods were not jealous of them. In fact, they pitied the poor girl, and that's why they did what they did next.
