Well Damn.
After Abby and Hayley told Aspen why they missed his game and bought him two meals from two different restaurants with the money Hayley's dad gave her they went back to Hayley's house.
"The football team is having an afterparty for winning the game" Hayley said as she read the school newspaper.
"Yes,and?" Aspen responded eating the last slice of pizza from the box as he layed on Hayley's bloated stomach. "Aspen edwick Conar why aren't we at that afterparty?" Abby said as she jolted up of off Hayley's bed sprinting to Hayley's closet to pick out an outfit to wear.
"Abby i really am not in the mood to go to a party after running after 6 foot tall muscular men for 2 hours" Aspen got up and went downstairs to throw away the pizza box.
"Why not,it would be fun" Abby shouted back to Aspen as he walked up the stairs and back into Hayley's room.
"Can you two stop yelling your '5 feet apart' " Hayley giggled at the fact that she just mentioned one of her all time favourite movies unintentionally which soon turned into a feet of laughter as she fell off of her own bed.
"Are you ok Hayley?" Aspen asked as he shook his head laughing along with her Hayley just put a thumbs up as she calmed down and stood up off of the ground.
"I have something better for us to do than go to a party full of teenagers on crack" Hayley walked to her closet picking sonething out to wear for the special occassion.
"What?" Abby asked dissapointed. "I overheard my dad talking about a murder case in his study when i got
Home." Hayley continued "Apparently the body had absolutely no marks on the body,no sign of poison, no bullet wounds. Nothing" both Abby and Aspen looked confused."I think we have bigger problems to worry about like maybe that theirs a litural ghost possessing Abby" Aspen explained realising that he said that way to casually.
"Maybe this body also had a ghost fly into her body and it killed her from the inside" Hayley hung upside down on her bed trying to scare Abby. "Yeah,no i'm not dying so soon but i really wanna go to this party c'mon it'll be fun" Abby emphasized trying to convince them.
"So your not worried that you could die any moment from now?" Aspen asked Abby as she was looking for a good outfit to wear. "No." She simply said. The truth is Abby was actually petrified but she chose to ignore it and distract herself from the situation and she thought going to a party was the best way to do so.
"Fine we'll go" Aspen said as he knew that he'd end up going anyways "What about going to see the dead body?" Hayley whined. "You'd rather go see a dead body than go to a party?" Abby asked knowing what the answer was going to be. "Yes." Hayley simply answered still hanging upside down
