My names Cassidy. My life's a living hell. You think it's an exaggeration? Ha, I wish.
You want an example, here. Take a look at my mom and dads past. There's isn't a cup of tea either.

The rain slammed hard against the metallic shed as the man ran past, searching. He came to a halt when he saw the guards. They caught sight of him and raised their guns. He tried to turn around but they had already started to fire. The man was on the ground. A pool of blood surrounding him. One of the guards walked up to him and looked down, the other one followed. "An outsider." One of them said. In the backround, there was a women trying to get through the electric fence without making contact with it. Just before the guards turned around she made it through. Soaking wet and visibly with child. Only then did she see the the man lying on the floor. She let out a gasp full of misery and whispered "Rufus" to the air. She then kept on running, further and further away from the death scene. She came to a stop near a white building which could be recognised as a hospital. The rich side of town, barely anyone got close enough to see it, now her husband had sacrificed himself so that his unborn child could grow up in the world she deserved. Little did he know it would all come crashing down.

See? Dramatic isn't it, the knight saves the princess, taking her to safety. Where they get married and live in a lovely Kingdom. Apart from in this tale, the Kingdom is a prison, The knight is dead, and their child was arrested for sneaking out, well trying. Let me introduce myself again. My names Cassidy, and I'm a fugitive with a deceased father and a disgusted mother who hates to call me her daughter.

The sirens are distant now, I'm at least three miles away from that cage. I can still hear the screams, the gun shots. I know they are after me. If they catch me, there is no law declining permission to kill me. This is the second time I've left, and I know I'm not going back. There is nothing to go back for, they took it all. So I continue on this endless trek to the forest. It will take weeks, but I know where I'm going. My mum used to tell me about it when I was little. An innocent cabin they made in the middle of the woods, her and Rufus, my father. I know it's by the lake, where the owls like to nest. One time, in biology when the teacher wasn't looking I stole a glance in the pair of binoculars. I could just make out the tops of trees, it's all I needed to know. I have no idea how far away my freedom is. I just know I'll have to continue walking. Let's hope.
