The door of Arrieta Cafe was opened. Yong Ha came in and found Hae Kyung was in hurry.
"Oh hi, I didn't mean to be rude but I have to go to my audition now before late," she said while fixing her soft make up.
"Ah, it's okay. I just want to take my pocket watch actually,"
"Ne... I keep it but I have to search it first. How if you wait for me at my audition then I will give you the watch afterward? If you dont have any appointment of course,"
"Great idea. No, i don't have any plan. Kajja...,"
They half jogged to the audition studio which only took 10 minutes walk from the cafe. They entered the building and chose to sit at the back. Not long after, Hae Kyung went to the backstage to prepare herself while Yong Ha stayed at the chair.
The production would tell a tragic story about a blind girl which love to sing and play guitar. She had a dream to be famous singer as well as cured her eyes. Later she would meet and fall in love with a man. In the end, her dream of becoming famous singer came true but she had to lost the man in an accident and had his cornea for hers.
Finally Hae Kyung got out to the stage. Today's audition was acting like blind people. Hae Kyung need to sit at the chair while others would do their things near her. Some of them will try to distract Hae Kyung. The audition was started.
As the judges say action, Hae Kyung transformed herself into blind girl. Her eyes opened but empty. Others around her did their own activity but once in a while would came near her but she just stayed still like real blind girl. Suddenly one of the cameo acted like drunk man and tried to slap her front face. Yong Ha hold his breath watching the man's hand coming closer to Hae Kyung face but she stay still not even blink. Yong Ha slowly released his holding breath. Then one of the judges yelled cut and Hae Kyung bowed down before went to her seat.
"Wah daebak... your performance is so great!," Yong Ha said clapping his hand to Hae Kyung.
"Geumane, geumane....," said Hae Kyung blushing.
"Eheem... attention please," said one of the judges,
"The names we mention after has been successfully finish this audition : Kim Ji Won, Kim So Hyun, Cha Eun He, Yoo Eun Ae, and Go Hae Kyung. You may proceed to next audition two days from now. Chughahabnida"
Hae Kyung felt so happy. She hugged Yong Ha out of sudden while grinning. Yong Ha just stupefied and smiled foolishly. He patted Hae Kyung back awkwardly. Realizing what she did, she immediately released him.
"I am so sorry, I don't mean to make you uncomfortable," she said
"No, no, no, its okay. I understand," Yong Ha said, "shall we go now?"
"Ah ye...," she answered and rise from her chair.

They walked back to Arrieta. Along the way, Yong Ha couldn't help but asked her why she choose to act. She told him that she began to perform in high school. Her school made a musical play and she was chosen to be the main lead. At first she felt hesitated but chose to give all her best. At the end of the play, people gave her standing ovation even some were in tears. At the moment she realized that it was her dream to perform and reach people heart by her performing.
"So you do musical? You should sing to me one day," said Yong Ha.
"Ah, about that.... I don't think I can do that anymore,"she said.
"Wae yo?"
"Because my voice is my asset. You should pay if you want to hear it. Hahahaha...,"she said jokingly.
"Ya! Neo! Wah... I think we are friends already but you even ask me to pay to hear you sing,"he said pretend to be offended. She couldn't help but laughing hard. Soon he joined her in laughter.
Finally they arrived at the cafe. She opened the cafe and let him in. Since She had to take the pocket watch at her suitcase first, she opened a bottle of Soju for him. Then she went to the storage room and searched for it at her suitcase. After finding the pocket watch, she went to him.
"Here you are," she said giving the pocket watch to him.
"Gamsahamnida. This pocket watch is really meaningful for me. I can't lose it,"
"Is it from the girl you mention before?,"she asked opening a bottle of Soju for herself.
"Aniya. This was belong to my late father. My mom gave me when I entered military 3 years ago. I engraved my initial here, KYH, Kim Yong Ha,"he said pointed at the initial.
"Ouw I see," said Hae Kyung.
Suddenly her phone vibrated. She opened the message and sighed heavily.
"What happened?," Yong Ha asked.
"They send second audition schedule and material. It turns out we have to do ballroom dance. I can't do that. I never do that,"she bowed her head.
"I can teach you if you want,"
"Really? Are you good at ballroom dance?,"
"Not really but I have danced. How about tomorrow night? I know a place nearby that we can use to exercise,"
"Kkeol... okay. Thanks a lot Yong Ha-ssi,"she said smiling brightly.
"But of course it is not free. You have to pay me,"he said jokingly.
"Ya! Do you take revenge on me? Arasseo. What do you want?,"
"Hahahaha... I will tell you later,"he said winked his one eye "I think I have to go now. I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Of course,"she said seeing him off, "annyeong."
"Annyeong, Hae Kyung-ssi," he said waving at her.
She came back inside with a happy heart. Slowly but sure her dreams come true. And she got new friend who warm her heart and sometimes made it beat faster.

The sun slowly rose through the cafe window. Its light crept into Hae Kyung body then to her face. Annoyed by the light, she decided to wake up. She went to the toilet after taking her simple suit and washed her face. She also brushed her teeth and applied some make up. She had just opened the door of her toilet when she saw the boss was already there.
