The Bad Boy's Best Friend

Chapter 6

Rosie's POV
Grant and I make our way to his car and we get there, I can't do anything except stop in my tracks. When Grant realizes I stopped he turned around and looked at me like I was crazy "What's the matter?"
"Ummmm.... Nothing except you drive a Ferrari!" I say almost screaming.
Grant laughs a little " Yea...yea I do. Now can you stop being weird and get in the car." Grant says grabbing my hand and my chuckle suddenly goes quiet and I blush.
Grant opens the car door for me and I thank him quietly. As he closes the door and walks around the car, I look in the rear view mirror and make sure I look okay.
We start to drive and the radio is on quietly in the background. We begin to talk and Grant brings up Jason.
"So.... How long have you and Jason been friends?" Grant says casually.
"Oh geez.... Since kindergarten." I say smiling.
"Wow that's long! You guys close?" Grant says inquisitively.
" Best friends!" I say thinking about Jason. "Why do you want to know so much about Jason anyway?" I say thinking his sudden interest is strange.
"Oh nothing...." He says nervously. "Just seeing if I have any competition." He says smiling at me.
I burst out laughing and I blush. All the sudden my favorite son Want you to Want Me by Jason Derulo comes on and I blast the radio. I sing along with every word, Grant just staring at me and smiling.
We pull up to my house and Grant and I just stare at each other smiling. "You really are something. You know that Rosie?" Grant says slightly laughing.
"Thanks I guess...." I say chuckling. Before I know it Grant's lips crash into mine and I can't help but kiss back.
