He was chasing you with the knife. You ran as fast as you can. You looked back and stumbled. You fell to the ground and the man walked towards you. He bends over to you and ...

You woke up. Trembling, drenched in sweat and breathing heavily. ,,Just a dream" you whispered and took a deep breath. You looked at your Boyfriend Jay and admired his pretty sleeping face.
You stared at him for a few minutes, smiled at him and gently stroked his hair from his face. ,,How can he be so pretty?" you thought.

You couldnt fall asleep again so you decided to go to the kitchen to get a glass of milk. While you poured milk in your glass you thought about your dream. Your dream was familiar. You experienced a situation like that.

It happened 2 years ago. You went home alone from a party at night when a strange man spoke to you. You ignored him and walked faster. He yelled something after you and you turned around. You saw that he had a knife in his hand and was walking towards you. You ran away but you stumbled and fell to the ground.

You looked up at him when he got closer and wanted to touch you. "Hey leave her alone" you heard a group of boys calling out and approaching you. The man looked at them and ran away because they were seven boys. He was alone.

"Are you okay?" Said one of the boys who got down to you and hugged you.
You were so in shock that you couldn't talk, just cry. You cried in this shoulder while hugging him back.

"Call the police jake" the boy said while he calmed you down. "I'm Jay and I'm here with my friends" he smiled to distract you a little. The boys watched everything from a restaurant a little further.

"Whats your name?" he asked. "Y-y/n" you said still in shock. ,,Its okay y/n we're here now You're safe". You looked at him with teary eyes. ,,Thank you" you sobbed and hugged him again. Thanks to them you were okay.

From that day on you met often and have been a couple for 1 and a half year now.

The thought of that night made you shiver when you suddenly felt two arms around your waist. ,,Shit-" you cursed before you turned around and looked into the sleepy face of your boyfriend.

,,I'm sorry that I woke you up, let's go to sleep again" you panicked and dragged him out of the kitchen. ,,Y/n wait" he said in a raspy voice, pulled his hand away, looked you in the eyes and spreads his arms. You ran straight into his arms, exhaled loudly and relaxed.

,,Do you want to tell me what your dream was about?" he asked and smiled at you. ,,As always...You still know what happened 2 years ago right? In this night...",

,,Stop thinking about it babe. You are safe now. I'm always here to protect you, you dont need to be afraid okay?". He interrupted you and kissed your forehead.

,,And now lets go back to sleep i'll stay awake until you fall asleep".
He took your hand and led you to bed where he took you in his arms.

,,I love you y/n never forget that"
,,I love you too Jay" you said half asleep while listening to his heartbeat.
A few seconds later you both fell asleep in each others arms.
