Chapter 9

RANBOO'S POV
Quackity handed me the little kid. The kid's really cute! Although I feel like this isn't right. I'm not even sure about executing Technoblade. He's been peaceful, but even with that getting a cute little kid involved isn't right.
I should stop him from crying.
I gently bounced him on my him.
"hey, shh, shh, it's okay, shh" I said
He looked up at me still crying a bit
I put my one hand over my eyes for a second before moving them and saying
"Peek-a-boo!"
The little guy started giggling, I went to boop his nose but he grabbed my finger and started eating it.
The others started to walk back to L'manburg so I followed

"Uhh, Quackity?"
"What?"
"The kid is eating me"
"Does he even have teeth?" Tubbo asked
"Yes"
"Does it hurt?"
"A little bit, I don't wanna make him cry though"
"Can't you just like, get him to sleep?"
"I dunno, maybe"

I tried gently pulling my finger away from the toddlers mouth, luckily he didn't immediately start crying. He did look confused and sad though.

We arrived back at L'manburg. They put Techno in the execution thing and Tubbo told me quietly

"Find something to do with the kid, I don't want him to see death at such a young age, that stuff messes you up. Trust me, Just find someone to take care of him for now and then come back okay?"
I nodded.

Who could I give the kid too?
Definitely not Quackity, Fundy or Tubbo
Niki? But I don't wanna bother her
Karl, I dunno if he'd be great with small children, I don't know him to well...

I don't know anyone to well,

I don't really trust Ghostbur with a child
That leaves a few people,

Eret maybe good with kids but he's kinda far,
I don't think I'd trust Jack with a little kid,
I don't wanna bother Puffy,

I hope he doesn't hate me too much to do this. He seems nice and I know he's a dad, he raised Tubbo, Tommy and Wilbur, from what I've heard of Wilbur that must have been eventful,

I knocked on Phil's door and in a minute he opened it.

"Uh, hey Phil I-" I started but Phil cut me off
"What are you doing with him" he said looking to the small child in my arm.
"Oh um, It's a kid we found in Techno's house, Quackity took him since- well I dunno why but he gave him to me and Tubbo told me to find someone to watch him so he didn't have to see, you know what"
"Give him to me" he said
"Thank you!" I said handing the kid over
"I'm sorry for-" I started before I cut off by the kid
"Dadtha!" the kid said He cuddled up into Philza's arms,
"Do you know the kid?" I asked
"I'm surprised no one recognized him, especially Tubbo. I'm not sure what happened but, This is Tommy"
"Tommy? As in exiled Tommy?"
"Yup"
"I should go back to the others, do you want me to tell them about-"
"No, don't, I don't know how they would react or what they would do"
"Okay, I won't"

I went back to the others.
