Flashback (year 3)

Roe smiled as she walked into her defense against the dark arts class, she was once of the first people in there having even beat the professor. She was hoping that if she was already seated Professor Snape wouldn't make her sit beside Malfoy again.

Ally walked in next having their friends behind her, Christo immediately ran over to the girl to take the seat beside hers. "I hope this works" Ally muttered to her friends who all nodded in agreement. They all hated having to see Roe suffer every year in DADA.

"It probably won't." Roe dead-planned as she seen the students start filling the room.

The Slytherins once again stayed to the right of the room, Harry and his friends at the front with a couple of Ravenclaws and then them in the last couple of desk on the left side. Roe was hidden behind her taller friends and she kept her head down trying not to draw any attention to herself.

She noticed how the Slytherins all gathered around Draco, Pansy siting extremely close to him on his left while Blaise and Theodore was behind them laughing.

The friends watched as Snape eyes glanced over to Draco's side of the room where he clearly noticed she was missing. "Where is Miss Rhodes?" He questioned Draco who only shrugged.

"Here Professor" she spoke not wanting to get the boy in trouble for her absence seeing as Snape looked about ready to start yelling at the young white haired boy. "And why is it have you decided to change seats Miss Rhodes."

"We were the first ones here Professor we just sat down." She told him. She noticed how all the girls in the room besides Pansy was giving her sympathies looks. "Well, I suppose it would be best if you found your seat Miss Rhodes, I presume Miss Parkinson will gladly trade you." Roe reframed from groaning as she gathered her things and walked over to the left side of the room.

Parkinson seemed to be in disbelief but truly they had been doing this for three years now it wasn't a surprise that Snape sat them beside each other anymore.

She didn't miss the fierce glare Pansy sent her way as she took the girls seat beside Malfoy. "Professor must I really set beside the blood traitors?" She questioned in disgust and Ally and Roe looked at each other before smiling at the discomfort of Parkinson. "C'mon Parkinson we don't bite, do we?" Miller joked before imitating a dog by barking. Bray joined in while Christo banged on the desk trying to annoy the Slytherin girl. "Enough boys" Snape silenced them before speaking again "take your seat"

Roe giggled after seeing Ally fake a gagging noise upon seeing how uncomfortable Chris was now. Christo even looked at her with pleading eyes like she could do something about the situation.

Maybe if she had to suffer then so did her friends.

Draco and Roe were the last two students in the classroom seeing as they were still finishing writing down the notes on the chalk board.

Roe smiled as she finished before gathering her text book and her note pad to walk out the door. But just as she stood up Draco was walking behind her to leave causing him to drop his things in the floor seeing as his foot had caught the leg of her chair.
