First Friday night.

It was a Friday afternoon and I couldn't help but rest from the past weeks' assignments and class activities. Sarah, my now closest new friend was seated on my bed giving a narrative about a friend of hers who used to apparently see ghosts at their farm while I lied down , laughing terribly at her story which seemed more imagined than real.  She had on her a lovely humour and it was contagious.

Nonetheless, Life in the dorms throughout the week hadn't been an easy one but I still  managed to pull through better than I envisaged it. School work became more and more loaded as the days went by so I had to make sure that I read atleast  hundred pages in a day. People found it deranged that I pulled of my modules for my third and second years but It didn't bother me.  Instead, I  laughed it off whenever they pried about it and just moved on with life.

It was hard to not look out for uncomfortable to be around Oliver everywhere I went. His voice haunted my dreams,  and I found myself having more dreams of him and I singing together. It Disturbed me  but I didn't want to abide by it. Peculiarly thou, the whole week passed by without seeing him since my first and second day encounter with him.  He didn't attend the music class or come to our room to Maria, which was a relief, sort of because I hated uncomfortable situations.

Maria wasn't so bad of a person although I made it certain to myself that as long as she kept going out and drinking everyday at  night i wasn't going to keep her as my friend. She had

A great personality and was very chatty about the details of her life which was kind of annoying sometimes, because I was always hooked into my school work but I guess it was something I had to bare with.

After a while of a chit chat with Sarah, she  left the room, leaving me some time to rest and cool of.

"Olivia, what do you think of my makeup?" I was later on woken up by a well dressed Maria staring wide eyed  at me with her big doll eyes dancing in anticipation  for my response.
I looked around, wiping off some sleepy moisture off my face and then  put all my focus on her.
Her brows where filled with so much mascara but either way, I had to tell her that she looked beautiful ,which she did ,just so she could leave me alone.
She looked dashing though, because she was dressed in light blue mom jeans matched  with a ruched black body suit. Her  chunky earrings matched her black western style belt and they swished from side to side when she walked to the mirror to add more make up to her face.

"Where are you off to?" I had to ask the obvious, knowing very well that she never spent a night in the dorms.
"Michael is throwing a birthday party for his friend at his place," she said now drawing her lips in shape.
"Oh."
"You should try to atleast spent a night out, it's fun," she furrowed her brows at me, apparently she worried that I was wasting a crucial part of my youth when I could go out to interact with my peers and experience more.

Michael was one of the guys I Jared into with a beer can the day I arrived into the dorms. He never left our room and it got annoyingly real when him and Maria talked all the time, never allowing us to have a peaceful time. Most of the times they tried to add me into their conversations but I was smart to always dodge them.

Later on there was a bang on the door, which made us jump. It irritated me how some people could not just knock politely on doors but either way, I had to go get the door while Maria finished dressing, putting on her classic white Nike air force 1s.

When I walked to the door, I silently wished  that it wasn't Maria's irksome friends, Michael and Steve. To my shocking surprise, it really wasn't them. Instead uncomfortable to be around Oliver stood, looking at me then into the room towards Maria. It irritated me, how even after a week of not seeing him he still had the uneasy, uncomfortable effect on me.
