Thor's POV

"We need to know more about it. The infinity stone that Loki came into contact with."

That was Tony Stark, Iron Man, the "superhero" who wore a suit of armor that was powered by his engineering. He was an absolute fake, but no one told him so because he had too much money.

"It had been on Asgard for millennia before we entrusted it to you. How Loki found it and was able to wield it is a mystery to me." I replied.

"Since it was in your home for so long, shouldn't someone on Asgard know more about it?" That was Black Widow, or Natasha Romanoff.

"Very few beings had full knowledge of the tesseract at all. Two, actually. One is currently dead." I just managed to keep the waver out of my voice. I was done with grief.

"Loki." Captain America said, nodding slightly to me as though he knew what I was going to great lengths not to do. Rip up the entire universe. Wreak Havoc in the 9 realms. That sort of thing.

"Who's the other?" Romanoff asked. All of the Avengers turned their gazes on me.

I sighed. I had been hoping that it wouldn't come to this, that I wouldn't have to call on her help. She wouldn't very much appreciate the Avengers crashing into her life, least of all me. Plus, this would be very, very, very awkward.
