Taehyung and Jungkook thought they were just attending a normal, run of the mill halloween party...only to find themselves transformed into their halloween costumes. If Taehyung thought it was hard keeping his hands to himself when Jungkook was dressed as a demon...it was nigh impossible to stay sane when Jungkook actually was a demon. In hindsight, it probably would have been a better idea to seek answers for what was going on...and that would have been first on their agenda, had they not had more pressing matters to attend to.

The night was a cold one, the frigid air causing large puffs of white to leave Taehyung's mouth with each breath as he looked warily from side to side. The moon was already high in the endless black sea of sky, hidden behind a thick blanket of fog, looking much like a smear of white paint on a dark canvas.

Taehyung shivered as the cool wind blew, his costume doing absolutely nothing to shield him from the brutal, icy October air. His teeth had begun to chatter and he felt himself subconsciously walking closer to his boyfriend, Jungkook, with every step. He hated walking in the dark but Jungkook had suggested walking to the halloween party they were attending, rather than taking Taehyung's suggestion of getting an Uber since it was 'only a short walk'. It sure as hell felt a lot longer when Taehyung was freezing his ass off and jumping in fright at every single noise like an axe murderer was about to jump out and stab him to death.

Taehyung's flimsy, sheer silk shirt and flowy white pants might as well have been nonexistent with how poorly they were keeping him warm, and it was at that moment that he'd truly regretted dressing as a fairy for halloween. He thought it'd be cute, and cute he was...he just didn't factor in the near arctic temperatures he'd have to brave.

Every ten metres, he was looking nervously behind him, terrified of any shadows or movement that caught his eye, his hand tightly wrapped around Jungkook's bicep as they walked. Taehyung was already ridiculously on edge and nervous, his eyes darting in every direction, back and forth, subconsciously scanning the surroundings for any threats, the dark night unnerving him.

The one thing his gaze didn't catch though, was the dark shadow stalking them from underneath a nearby parked car, its luminous green eyes locked onto them and analysing their every move from its hiding place. Taehyung could feel the eyes on him, piercing into him from a distance and yet he couldn't pinpoint the direction it was coming from and that only added to the pit of unease that was already simmering in his stomach, like hot water in a pan on the stove.

It wasn't long though before Taehyung did spot the pair of glowing eyes, like two lasers that seemed entirely focused on them, unmoving...unblinking and completely unwavering.

"J-Jungkook..." The older stuttered, hurriedly tugging at his boyfriend's bicep to get his attention, his eyes wide and his body beginning to shake in fear. Oh God, were they about to get eaten by some extraterrestrial being or ghoul? He knew it was a stupid idea to walk anywhere at night on halloween and he never should have agreed to do it, now he was going to die for his stupidity! If Jungkook made it out of this alive, Taehyung was going to haunt his ass for the rest of eternity for making him walk!

The eyes seemed to get closer by the second, the glowing orbs of green growing as the seconds ticked by, an indicator that whatever those pair of eyes belonged to, was crawling out of its hiding space towards them.
