Chapter One: The Double Lair

The passage that connects other dimensions to ours. "Gate." The dwellings of monsters, "Dungeons."

"What? Dungeon?"
"The dungeon has been opened."
"Hunters will likely come soon."

Those who hunt monsters are called "Hunters." My name is Izuku Midoriya. I am a Hunter.

"Let's do the best for today."

But I'm just a hunter that goes into the weakest dungeons, an E-Rank Hunter.

"Did you hurt yourself again?"

"The world's weakest Hunter."

'If I want to pay my mother's medical bill, I cannot stop . . . '

But, the hardest dungeon had been hidden in an E-Rank dungeon. "Double Nest."

The green-haired boy panted, face covered in blood as he raised his sword, arms shaking so much he could barely hold the weapon aloft.
"Dammit!"

In the end, I can't escape from death.

Enormous stone statues stride towards the boy as he sits on the altar, one leg a bloodied stump and his arms shaking worse than a leaf in a hurricane. One of the stone giants pulls back its arm, preparing to stab the boy with its spear, eyes glowing with a haunting pale light.

Darkness.

But, when I started to disappear,

Green eyes snap open, and Izuku Midoriya sits upright.

I woke up in a hospital.

The green-haired boy smirks up at a Viridian dragon, a dagger in his hand.
"Alright, bring it on!" He leaps high into the air, streaking above the dragon's head. He raises the glowing dagger above his head, letting out a fierce cry as he drops down towards the beast.

I will rise from the weakest Hunter to S-Rank Hunter!

A green-haired boy pants as he reaches for a sword, sitting on an altar and alone in a throne room save for a hoard of stone giants. He glares upwards at them, pointing the sword straight at the closest one's armoured head.
