Someone old is new in town.
Its been a few weeks and no one has mentioned anything from that night, you've stayed back as you have been taking care of the compound, keeping everything up to date.
Currently most of the team are out on a mission, but Bucky, Vision, Bruce and Maria are with you. You and Bucky have an interesting friendship, everyone thinks you're dating but you're just friends.
After a few hours of doing filing, asking Maria and Bruce about different things that will help you do your job better in the future, Vision butting in with his "equations" every now and again, its not every helpful. Bucky hasn't been doing much throughout the day, just drinking,
and watching the news, after a while the team get back and you all talk for a bit until everyone hears someone at the door.
"y/n Petrova let me in before I kick down your bloody door" A voice echoes.
"y/n who is it, you haven't invited anyone over without asking right?" Tony asks unsure of the coming answer.
"No Tony I promise, I haven't had anyone to invite. You reply sharply.
"y/n I know you're in there, you also know I CAN get in if-"
"Yeah okay I'm not going to let that person finish their sentence" Tony says walking to the door opening it and letting the person in.
The woman walks right past Tony, then streamlines over to you.
"Rebekah" you say in pure shock.
"Hello love, missed me?" Rebekah returns.
"Of course I have Bex" ecstatic you almost jump into her arms for a hug.
"I've missed you too y/n" Rebekah matches in energy.
You hear everyone wispering, it was mainly Nat and Wanda saying;
"have you guys ever seen y/n like that",
"umm since when did she hug people",
Bucky saying "who is this girl, she made her smile like we've never seen",
Nat sent a tease towards Bucky "Bucket you have some competition",
"be quiet spider" he sent back.
"Uh guys this is-" you try and say before you're interrupted.
"Rebekah, pleasure I'm sure" she says.
"Bex this is Nat, Wanda, Steve, Sam, Maria, Vision, Bruce, Thor, My Boss, Tony and thats
Bu-"
"Thats Bucky her boyfriend" Nat says with a smirk.
"She's/he's, not my girlfriend/boyfriend" both you and Bucky snap at Nat in unison.
"Yes of course your not y/n, thats what you said last time you liked someone" Rebekah declares in air quotes.
"Bex lets not go there" you advise.
"No no lets go there" Tony says.
"I'd rather not" you say shyly.
Bucky notices that you're uncomfortable so he butts in.
"Maybe another time, I think theres been enough shock for one day".
Wanda catches on so she changes the subject.
"So Rebekah what brings you here?" Wanda asks.
"To see my favourite Petrova of course" she replies.
"Awh thanks, but we both know its not just me is Bex" you disclose.
