The next day came and Wei ying had next to him a donkey that he found while escaping the Mo clan. He was riding the donkey till he found somewhere to rest and drink water while resting rouge cultivators were passing by they wanted to rest too bc they'll have a long trip on Dafan mountain. A girl suddenly came to Wei wuxian and said

Girl

" Hey there, u are such a pretty lady and I wanted to give u this apple"

Wei ying looked at the girl and smiled awkwardly

Wei wuxian

"Thank u"

Girl

" I know I sound weird but I just found u very pretty and gorgeous but how come u don't have a husband or a Fiancé ?"

Wei ying choked on his own spit

Wei wuxian

" How are u sure I don't have a husband or a Fiancé?"

Girl

" Well it's obvious u don't have a ring and I'm sure if u had a husband or a Fiancé u wouldn't be alone now"

Wei ying laughed awkwardly bc he didn't know what to say

" I never thought someone would feel pity bc I don't have a husband well at the same time it makes sense I mean if the man finds out I used to be one and plus the Yilling Patriarch they would leave me"

"Well don't worry about that I still want to have my freedom alone I'm sure along the way I'll find my other half"

Girl

"U are right!!! I'm sure u'll find ur other half and I bet he will be as handsome as u are beautiful"

"Thanks"

Girl

"Well I have to go now I hope I'll see u soon"

"Well that was the most awkward conversation I had in my entire life"

Wei ying still had the apple in his hands and the donkey wanted to eat it

And with that Wei ying took a bite

" Hey this could be ur name lil Apple anyway we have to move too let's go"

And with that he and lil Apple got to the city there were a lot of people cause of course there was tavern, inns, shops so it was full of people. Wei ying end up being on mountain and infront of him some miles away was Dafan mountain. From behind him he heard a woman calling someone

Woman

" A- Yan pls stop!"

Wei ying look behind him and he saw the girl from earlier she stopped infront of him and she started dancing Wei ying was confused to why she was dancing

Woman

" A- Yan pls stop dancing!!!"

She hold the girl to stop dancing and they both were on the ground the woman was crying

Wei wuxian

" Um- miss what's wrong with her?"

Wei ying asked softly but with concern

Woman

" She is my daughter and Idk what really happened. U see A- Yan was engaged and one night her Fiance was out till some wolves killed him my poor a-yan was so sad till she came back home and she looked dead then her father the next night died. For some reason when she is close to this mountain she starts dancing like crazy"

Wei ying looked to the mountain and realised that the goddess statue was there and he immediately knew he had to go there. When Wei wuxian arrived he saw the Lan juniors and some from Jin clan and other clans they all were in trouble as the statue started moving and fighting the juniors. He throw a tailsman to stop the statue moving

Wei wuxian

" Everyone get out now!"

While all the juniors were going out and he saw a Jin junior staying there

Wei wuxian

" Hey u! Go outside!"

The junior without any other choice he ran outside with Wei ying. The statue started moving again and started chasing them, everyone was trying to stop the statue by breaking it but it was no use. Wei ying saw behind him some baboos and thought that he could make a flute he saw a Lan disciple beside him and took his sword

Jingyi

"Hey! why did u take my sword?!?!"

Wei ying didn't pay attention to him and cut the baboos. He made a flute and put it in his lips

*Wei wuxian thinking*

"Just give me any corpse right now to stop this goddamn statue!"

He was playing the flute but it didn't sound so good but it didn't matter as long it made a sound it was worth it

Jingyi

"U lunatic can't u see what we are dealing with right now!?!?! Why are u playing the flute?!?!? It doesn't even sound that good!!"

Wei ying kept playing till a corpse showed up and broke the statue in little pieces. Wei ying couldn't believe in his eyes

*Wei wuxian thinking*

" Wen Ning? I thought he died years ago"

While he was in his mind wen ning started attacking the juniors when wei ying came back he started playing the flute again to calm him

A junior

"It's ghost general!!! Let's kill him!!!"

Wei ying was trying to get him away from there till he bumped into someone and grabbed his wrist to stop playing. He looked up and saw Hanguang-jun they locked eyes together till he remembered he needs to send Wen Ning away he started playing again till finally Wen Ning wasn't there anymore. When he stopped playing he saw Hanguang-jun looking at the direction where Wen Ning disappeared but he grabbed his hand while dropping his flute. Both of them locked eyes again till he heard Jiang Cheng

Jiang Cheng

"What's going on here?"

Jiang junior

" Sect leader Jiang this girl summoned Wen ning!"

Jiang Cheng look at Wei ying and said
