marinette had just left the house for school.
she seemed down, so adrien walked over.
"hey marinette :)"
marinette ignored him. that last thing adrien wanted to see was for his best friend to look so sad, but he just frowned and walked away.
he soon approached nino.
"hey dude. what's up with mari?"
adrien frowned again and just stared at the ground. all he wanted was for marinette to tell him what was wrong.
the bell rang and they all went inside the school. soon enough, it was lunch time. alya, nino, and marinette usally go to the coffee and donut shop around the corner, and this time, they asked adrien to come.
