3:20 am friday
lani was sitting the dining room waiting for you to get home sipping some orange juice she found in the refrigerator, this was like a weekly routine for her, you would go out with your friends and come home late
she was close to difting off until they heard the doorknob jiggle, she slowly got up and unlocked the door knowning you forgot your keys once again
" thank you baby" she just hummed and closed the door walking to the cup taking it to the kitchen, you took off your coat and shoes following suit
you slowly walk the kitchen seeing her leaned against the counter watching your every move as you walked in you could feel her staring holes at you waiting for you to say something anything to ease her thoughts
" im sorry and I know I say it everytime but I mean it this time" she just laughed shaking her head " i dont believe you, i want to believe you but i dont cause eveytime you say that you turn around and do it again"
"you right" you said as you stared off in space " thats it thats all you have to say?''
''I mean what else is there to say" she looked at you in disbelief and walked out of the kitchen
" keh wait'' you sighed going after her
"It's just that we always have this conversation like what else can I say"
" We wouldn't have this conversation if you would just fucking stop"

Sighing u leaned against the wall shaking your head " I- I " I- I- what.....you know what you is sorry, you is a sorry ass nigga, you always fucking sorry, "im sorry keh i wont do it again", well you did it again now what huh, you just want me to sweep it under the rug"
" i wake up every morning clean, cook, rearrange, go shopping make sure everything is nice and kept up for us and what do u do nothing but get drunk and sit on ur ass all day where's ur effort its like for these past few months ive been with
you realized how much you been neglecting this relationship how much work and effort they put in and what have they've gotten back ? nothing u let u head hang in shame you didn't want to look up to seethe hurt on her face, the hurt you caused but u heard sniffling
you lock eyes with keh her face is red and tear filled her chest heaving up and down from all the talking they have done she look tired
slowly u walk towards her you wrapped your arms around her and u instantly felt the pain she felt all the long nights of worrying and arguing and yelling you held her tight she broke down and held u even tighter like she was scared to let you go , if she did she'd lose you forever
