Why do I let my fears hinder me from you?
Why must your fears throw you in the past and believe things that aren't true?
More like you're afraid of what letting go might put you through,
Panicked and patronized by your past life.
I know it's not fair to tie them to me but I can tell you have no clue what else to do.
Just like I'm not feeling myself when I let fear hinder me from you.
I'm a version of me that doesn't exist in any of my fantasies.
It's one that's taunted and traumatized by the very things that taint me.
I would love for this to be love but don't I always?
Don't I always got a lot going on?
Where do you go when you're alone?
Are you holding space for me there?
Are you being patient with me,
stay with me there's no need for spatial wounds.
And I would be a fool to let my fears hinder me from you.
