(Y/n) POV-I breathed in the cool air, making my nostrils burn from the coldness here in Forks. My book Bag on my right shoulder, earbuds in, ready to start my first day at Forks High.
My brain was still racking over the fact that I ran away from VA aka Vampire Academy. Where Mori kind and Dhapires go to school together, I've never liked it there. School times are weird, meaning our school is at night where classes begin.
My eyes squinted as I tried to adjust my (e/c) contact eyes. So bright yet so gloomy, may take awhile to fit in.
I sucked in my gut and started to walk past the humans. Everyone here had their own little group. First were the jocks, nerds, band geeks, artists, and the outsiders or the so called losers. Just like home I guess? But the fact that their a mortals, don't get attached to them. Lesson learned.
People were glancing at me as if they haven't had an exchange student before. As I kept my gaze down and not looking around, something flashed at my eyes. I closed them as soon as the flash ended, making my pupils turn small then back to normal. I covered them and rubbed my eyes for a sec.
"Oh, sorry! Just wanted to get something new for the front page. Maybe someone new on here, oh, sorry, I'm Eric"
The boy says as he held up his camera in his left hand. His stupid geeky smile with his eyes closed, my face remained motionless.
"And what is yours... miss?"
"(Y/n),"
I said motionless as I gripped onto my bag to keep it from falling.
"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl,"
He flirted. I rolled my eyes and walked passed him, causing our shoulders to collide a bit.
"See you around, (Y/n)!"
'Eric' shouted as I walked faster to get away from that stupid human.
'Where is the office?'
"The office is down the hall to your right,"
I turned to see a tall, dark haired boy. I looked at him confused as if he just read my mind.
"Sorry, that may have sounded creepy. I never seen you here before, thought you were new,"
His eyes were mesmerizing... golden brown, like honey with a hint of gold?
"Maybe could have said your name first then could've told me, you know? Instead of being a creep,"
I said with one hand on my hip, I sucked the inside of my cheek in irritation.
He chuckled a bit and looked at me in the eyes. He seems like he's trying to figure me out, I broke the contact with my blinking and looking away.
"Down the hall to the right?"
I repeated feeling a bit awkward.
"Uh, yeah,"
He says as he clears his throat. I nodded and turned on my heel and walked away.
"I've never caught your name,"
He shouted loud enough for me to hear.
"It's (Y/n),"
I say over my shoulder.
"Edward, if you want to know,"
I smiled a bit, made my first human acquaintance!
As I turned the hall, I did my little happy dance only when I accomplish something.
"Miss. (L/n)?"
I paused as I heard a voice from behind me. I slowly turned and saw a lady that's dressed like a secretary.
"Yes?"
I say awkwardly, I was still in my victory dance stance.
"I'm Mrs. Iris, the principal. Seems like your late to class,"
She says as she eyed me down from head to toe. I quickly went back to my normal stance as I cleared my throat and did a weird smile.
"Yes, sorry, headmis- I mean, Mrs. Iris, I got los-"
"-I don't need an excuse. Here's your schedule, Miss. (L/n),"
Mrs. Iris interrupted me as she handed me a paper with my classes.
"Good day,"
She says. She walked past me with her head held high as if she ruled.
I gritted my teeth at her ignorance.
I looked down at the paper.
'Biology?'
Humans are just making up names at this point in the world.
I began to roam the halls trying to find the class number.
'2214... Ah! Here it is,"
I opened the door but forgot about my inhuman strength, the door fling open a bit to fast as the door knob hit the back of the lockers. The whole class looked at me as I stood there awkwardly in the doorway.
The teacher looked up from his book and adjusted his glasses.
"(Y/n) (L/n)? I assume,"
He says as he looked at me as well as the whole class did as well.
I nodded my head, I've never been in a class with all humans before. Let alone, their smell... I could feel my stomach start to growl a bit.
"Welcome to Biology, I'm Mr. Larks, you can sit next to Miss. Swan,"
Mr. Larks pointed to a long haired, brunette girl. She was looking outside as the rain began to stain the glass. She's acting as if she's the main character... embarrassing...
"Miss. Swan?"
The teacher called out to her. She broke out of her daze and shook her head as if she's fighting demons.
"Yes sir?"
She responded without making any eye contact.
'Weird...'
"The new student is going to be seated next to you,"
The teacher slowly explained, as if she was slow.
She nodded her head and moved her book bag down in the floor. The teacher gestured for me to sit. I walked to the sir and sat down. I felt my stomach starting to act up. The smell of the humans in here are driving me insane.
I swallowed my own spit as I popped in a gum, made by Dhapire's to hold off Mori's from hunger. I sighed as I felt the juices slid down my dry throat.
"Turn to page 394,"

"Hey, I'm Bella,"
I turned and saw the girl I sit with.
Before I could even open up my mouth to say my name she cut me off.
"And your (Y/n), already knew that,"
She pointed finger guns at me as she did an awkward smile.
"Uh, yeah?"
That's all i could say to be honest. She seems a bit too weird, even for a human.
"Sorry, I suck at talking to new people,"
Bella says as she rocked back and fourth on her heels.
"Umm, want to sit with me and my friends for lunch?"
She broke the awkward silence.
I smiled a bit and nodded my head.
She smiled.
"Great! See you at lunch then,"
With that, she walked off.'What a weird human...'
