It was Sunday night already. I didn’t tell my parents I was gonna be out all weekend. I’m sure they were very scared!
“Tim, we have a problem. I have a problem.”
“What is it?” asked Tim, worried.
“I didn’t tell my parents that I wasn’t gonna be home in all weekend. What are we gonna do?”
“Oh... well.... tell them we went to my parents’ house and that you didn’t thought of telling them, that you forgot. It’s a truth and a lie.” he said.
“It’s the best we have... we gotta get going.” I told him as I put on my jacket.
“Are you goin’? So soon?” L.J. asked as he looked at me with sad eyes.
“I’ll be back next weekend, don’t worry!” I said as I hugged him.
“Hurrayyyy~~” whispered L.J. as he hugged me harder.
“Well kiddos. See you in a week. Take care!” said Slender as he waved his hand.
“Byeeee~~” we all said. Tim and I went outside and closed the door. It was cold outside! I started trembling. Tim noticed and gently hugged me.
“Better?” he asked, blushing.
“Thanks” We walked all the way back hugged. It was difficult, but not impossible. When we finally arrived, I looked at Tim with sad eyes.
“I don’t wanna go back to the routine...”
“Come on, next weekend we’ll go to the mansion again!” he cheered me.
“Yeah but... I’m gonna miss them...” I sighed. “I’m gonna miss Masky.”
“What do you mean?” Tim asked, confused.
“You’re a different person in the mansion. You treat me different. Dunno....” I said as I looked down.
“Heeyyy, don’t be so sad. Masky will be just hidden. But he will be there, protecting you. I promise” he said as he held my hand with his. I blushed and looked at him in his brown, deep eyes.
“Tim I... I have to tell you something” I said. “ALL OR NOTHING!!” I thought.
“What...?” asked Tim, obviously curious but scared.
“Is that.... this weekend I discovered... I discovered something....” I couldn’t say it. I wasn’t brave enough. Maybe it was better to wait. Goddammit!!
“What have you discovered?”
“That....” I lied. “That killers can be fun!” I laughed.
“Hahaha” he laughed. “Yeah, they’re good people. I told you!”
“Well... time to go.”
“You’re right. See you tomorrow, little girl” He never called me little girl before! That made me blush a lot.
“Hehe...” a nervous laugh escaped. “See you tomorrow~~”
*Next day, morning*
Another boring lesson began, as every day. But now it was different. Now I felt different. I felt better. I felt protected by Masky and loved by Tim. And I had new friends! Everything was perfect. But... happiness never lasts forever.
