Ranboo woke up feeling bad. He was tired and dreading waking up. Tubbo wasn't in bed with him and Ranboo started to panic. Where could they be? Were they okay? Did they leave? Every thought was rushing through Ranboo's head. Their thinking was interrupted by the sound of glass breaking downstairs and a frightened squeal from Michael. Ranboo rushed downstairs to protect Michael. When they reached him, Tubbo was kneeling down, cleaning up shards of a plate he had dropped.

"Sorry Bubs! Just dad being clumsy."

Tubbo assured Michael. Ranboo let out a groggy enderman chirp, letting his family know he was there.

"Oh, hey Boo! Woke up i see? I've been hoping you'd—"

Tubbo was cut off by a panicked Ranboo's face. It was sizzling and burning at the touch of his tears. He was hugging Michael and shaking.

"Ranboo, what's wrong? Did i scare you?"

They did scare him, but not in the way Tubbo meant. Ranboo just pulled Tubbo close and sobbed into their shoulder. Tubbo knew it was more than a simple scare.

"Hey hey hey, whats wrong? Are you able to talk right now?"

Ranboo shook their head. Ranboo goes non-verbal whenever they go into a panic attack and sometimes he uses communication cards when he gets too overwhelmed and shaky to sign well.

"Okey. Do you want your communication cards?"

Ranboo shook his head. He could sign well enough for Tubbo to understand. Tubbo rocked back and forth with Ranboo in their lap and a confused Michael hugging his dads.

"Can I ask Tommy to come get Michael? Or do you want to keep him here? I think it would be easier to do the former, but I'll do whichever you're most comfortable with"

"Get Tommy." Ranboo signed.

Tubbo pulled out his phone and messaged Tommy. He didn't too many details in, just that Michael needed to be watched for a couple hours.

Tommy was quick to arrive. He always loved seeing his nephew. Then came a harsh knock on the door accompanied by a scream that Ranboo couldn't comprehend through his panicked and frazzled mind. This sent Ranboo further into a panic.

Tubbo got up to answer the door but soon was stopped by a tug at his shirt. It was Ranboo.

"Please do not leave me."

Ranboo signed, eyes wide and teary.

"I'll still be in sight, baby. I'll be up for a couple seconds and then I'll be right back. Don't worry. Now, do you want Tommy to see you this way or would you perfer to keep it a secret?"

Ranboo sighed, clearly upset.

"Secret."

Ranboo signed.

Tubbo opened the door just enough to reveal their face. They thanked Tommy for coming on such short notice and sent Michael on his way.

Ranboo wined from behind Tubbo. He was hitting the floor in front of him, implying they wanted Tubbo to sit with him. Tubbo calmly waked over to ranboo and sat cross legged in front of him. Ranboo happily clapped his hands, grinning widely.

"Looks like someone cheered up a bit, huh?"

Ranboo nodded his head rapidly. He started flapping his hands and rocking back a forth. He dragged his fingers from the middle of his head to his ears, then formed cages around his ears with his hands; signing "Headphones". Tubbo picked Ranboo up and placed him on their hip. Tubbo made their way up to Ranboo's sensory room.

The room had light pink and blue striped walls and those puzzle peice matts you would find in a kindergarten classroom. There were brightly colored chests lining the walls filled with stim toys and stuffed animals. There was LED string lights in the doorway and a big bubble lamp in the corner of the room.

Tubbo grabbed Ranboo's headphones from a wall of hangers, all holding headphones, earbuds, communication cards, and speech tablets.

"Here you go, baby. Do you want to stay in here?"

Ranboo giggled at the nickname and nodded. He sat cross legged and started to feel itchy and uncomfortable. He began trying to take his uncomfortable suit off, but was struggling with the button up and tie.

"Want some help with your clothes, buddy?"

Ranboo nodded sadly.

Tubbo helped him with his clothes and walked over to their closet. It was organized by age order. One the left was ages 0-2 and on the right was ages 3-5.

"How old are you feeling?"

Ranboo held up a hand and alternated between 1 and 2 fingers. He stumbled over to the closet and pointed out a cartoon zombie onesie. Tubbo pulled it off the hanger and helped Ranboo get into it. While Ranboo was distracted by his playlist, Tubbo started to walk away. Ranboo didn't notice until Tubbo was already gone. This sent Ranboo into a panic attack.

[ Ranboo's thoughts - TW ]

Why would Tubbo leave him? Did they hate him? Was Ranboo a bother? Did Tubbo not want to deal with him anymore? Why did they leave him alone? Tubbo was gone.

[ Thoughts over ]

Ranboo regressed further into his littlespace. He let out loud enderman gurgles. Tubbo was alarmed by this and came back to see if Ranboo was alright. He wasn't. Ranboo was shaking and crying and rocking back and forth. He had his communication cards out and they're flipped to a phrase.

"don't leave"

Tubbo instantly realized their mistake.

"Oh baby, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to leave you, I was just getting your juice. See?"

Tubbo held out a green and red sippy cup filled with apple juice and a small bowl of lucky charms. It was a sweet gesture, but Ranboo was still upset.

"I'm right here. I got you."
