Chapter 6 -- Going Back to the End

We go out onto the street and get into my car.

"Lets go, we need to destroy their compound." I get behind the wheel and start the engine.

"Wait, not yet." He pauses "We need to get weapons and dynamite first."

"True, let's go to my house. I've got a secret stash of guns and weapons there."

I drive us to my house. We go in only to find the whole house ransacked. I open the gun safe and take the AK-47 and Tommy I have. 

"Here, take this." I throw the Tommy to him. "One of the best I got. Lemme just get the dynamite."

I walk to the back to of the house to find a man in clad black jimmying open my explosive safe.

"Stop what you're doing and turn around." I point my gun at him.

He turns around and puts his hands up, only for me to notice the open explosive safe and detonator in his hand. Before he can press the button, I shoot him in the head. He drops down dead. I take all the C4, dynamite, and plastic explosives in my backpack before getting up and going back to the car where the captain is waiting. We drive to the compound and sneak in. I go to the prisons to let them out, when I see Clarissa in one of the cells, crying.

"Clarissa?" I look at her in surprise. "I thought you were part of the WSD."

She looks up at me, tear in her eyes. "FRANK!" She gets up and runs to the bars. "No, I would never! The only reason I said all that was because they gave me an earpiece and said that if I didn't say exactly what they did they would kill me."

"Oh, well let's get you out of there!"

I open her cell and plant some C4 in it. Our trio then goes around the facility placing more and more explosives, while avoiding guards. Suddenly, the alarm starts blaring.

"ATTENTION! EXPLOSIVES HAVE BEEN FOUND PLANTED ON THE PERIMETER! CODE D14!"

"What the hell is a D14?" I turn to Clarissa as we reach the entrance. 

"It means kill on sight." 

We get to the entrance and shoot the two guards there before managing to plant the last of our C4. Once we get far enough away, I press the button, and the whole compound turns into a fireball. We walk away, Clarissa and I holding hands and the captain walking ahead of us to the car. As we reach the crest of the hill, I turn to Clarissa.

"Clarissa, I don't have the ring but I wanted to ask you..." I pause, getting on one knee. "Will you marry me?"

She throws her arms around me in joy. "Yes of course I'll marry you!"

As the sun rises on the new day Clarissa and I start a new life, together.
