It's Friday! The red carpet event. I woke up around 8 o'clock in the morning and did what I usually do. I then went down for breakfast, which was a toast and a sunny side up egg. The event will not start until 11 o'clock, so I still got...pretty much a long time to myself first. I am so excited to see what all of them will look like. The last time I saw, was the girls. I haven't seen the boys yet. So I'm excited to see what they're going to wear. After I was done with my breakfast, I basically spent my time with my mom. We talked after breakfast about some stuff and the red carpet event. Then suddenly the doorbell rang.

'Ding dong ding dong' Hmm, I wasn't expecting someone. I said to myself as I walked to the door because my mom was too lazy to do it herself. I opened the door and saw. The lady. What's she doing here?, I asked myself. I smiled at her softly and asked. "Hi, but can I ask you what you are doing here?" I was confused. "Did you forget? You asked me to send your dress to you. It's right here." The lady said, pointing to the dress. Aaah, yes my dress, I forgot that I asked her to do that. "Sorry, I must have lost track. Busy busy busy!" I told her. "Well it's fine honestly, I know you're busy. Here." She said, handing me the dress. "Thank you." I said, as I was holding the dress. "No problem." She replied. "By the way, by any chance, have you got some that can do your hair and make-up?" She continued. Hah never thought of that. "Nope, I haven't." I replied back. "Well then, I can help you!" She said as she took out two, medium size bags. Probably one for make-up and one for hair stuff. I thought to myself. "Alright, thanks. Oh and come in!" I said as I let her enter the house first.

"Mom, someone's here." I told my mom as I shut the door. "Who is it?" She replied as she came to me. "Owh, it's you, what are you doing here?" Mom asked as she saw the lady standing next to me. "Owh, I'm here to help your daughter out, she said that she hasn't found someone to do her hair and make-up, so I'm helping." The lady replied softly, because my mom was older than her. "Oh, that's very thoughtful of you." Mom said as she hugged her. "Thank you." The lady spoke back. "Shall we go to my room?" I asked, stopping the conversation. Not in a bad way. "Let's go!" The lady said as she began to walk. But then stopped. "Sorry, you go first, I had to idea where to go." She said, trying to apologize. Mom and I laughed. "Let's go." I said as now I was leading them to my room.

"Your room is very pretty." The lady said when she walked in after me. "Thanks." I said then went to my make-up table and sat. "So, where should we start?" I asked.

Two hours had passed by and I was done with my make-up and my hair. I let the lady choose the type of make-up that would go well with my dress. And for hair, I said to her to make it simple. I wasn't thinking that it would be two whole hours just for doing my make-up and hair. Now I understand why men and boys always complain. Mom was in the room also. She didn't talk much because she didn't want to make the lady distracted. Mom was sitting on my bed with her tab on her hands. I guess she was doing some work. "Okay, are you ready?" The lady asked, after finishing doing the small touch-up. "Yeah, I think so." I told her and she started to walk to where my closet is, bringing me with her. She was covering my eyes close because she didn't want me to see yet. And one, two, three...she opened her hands and. Aaaargh! It was so beautiful, I turned around to show my mom and she was jumping up and down. The lady suddenly got a call from someone that she need to get back to the shop. So I thanked her and even tried to pay her since she did so much, but she refused it and said that it was all free.

Now I only have one hour left till the red carpet event starts. I took the dress that I hung in my closet and started wearing it. I was really glad that I got to pick this dress because it really caught my eyes. My mom helped me also because I couldn't reach the buttons on the back. I then finished it off by wearing these navy blue heels.

I only got forty minutes left until the red carpet event started, so I was waiting for my car to arrive. I already told my driver yesterday to pick me up at 10 o'clock so at least I got an hour to get myself there. But now it's already 10: 55 and he's still not here. Where could he be? I said to myself as I was starting to get panicked. My mom was living while I was in the kitchen because I realized that maybe taking a sip of water will help.

Nope! Not helping at all! It's been fifteen minutes and he's still not here. I was starting to get more panicked. I came to my mom and hugged her, not wanting to cry because this look took hours to get done. This was my first red carpet event ever, so I want everything to go well. But sadly right now, it's not going so well, and not how I wanted. 'Ding dong ding dong' Doorbell!, I said to myself. I quickly got up from the sofa and went to the door. And there, stood my driver. "Sorry miss, but I was stuck in a traffic." The driver said as he bowed a bit trying to apologize. "I understand. Hurry up now, come one!" I said as I quickly kissed my mom's cheek and ran slowly to the car. I waved to my mom and the driver started to drive.

It is now 11:30. Gosh it's already started. I told myself. I am now still in the car, waiting impatiently. I wasn't looking at my phone because I didn't want to. A few minutes after, the driver told me that we'd almost arrived. So I sat up straight, fixed my hair and my dress, and tried not to mess up my make-up.
