SUBSTITUTE | PT 2

Mya POV

Sunday Evening

Just getting off from work I came straight home and laid back on the couch.

The thoughts of seeing Mr.Bennett again just wouldn't stop. His looks were so mesmerizing I couldn't wait until tomorrow.

"Hey little girl. How was work?" My dads says grabbing the tv remote sitting down

"It was hectic like always. We were backed up on orders and our manager almost fired two people for smoking weed on break." I shook my head laughing

"If it's them sane kids from last time she should've been gotten rid of they ass. Come on now y'all too old for that." He says flipping through channels

I sigh scrolling through my phone "Yeah true."

"It's some pizza in there from Slims if you want some. Ima shower and head to bed." He stood up patting my back then handed me the remote before heading up stairs

After I ate I turned everything else off and went up to my room to shower then headed to bed.

Monday Morning

Gramwood Highschool

When I got to school the expected already started. Females were all in his face asking dumb ass questions.

Laughing and blushing at almost everything he says.

Fucking annoying.

"Mr.Bennett can we stay in yo room and just get our work from our other classes?" One female said

"Please?!" The others said

"Nah y'all go back to y'all classes ima see y'all when I see y'all." He fans everyone off with the clipboard he had in his hand

I could tell he was a little frustrated but trying to be nice.

Lucky me he's my first and last period

I walked up anxiously prepared for anything weird to happen today.

"Hey Ms. Jacobs, she told me all about you." he greeted me as the other girls mean mugged me

"Come on in. Have a seat by my desk." He says closing the door soon as the bell rung

I sat down putting my things on the floor next to me and pulled out my binder.

He stood towards the front waiting for everybody to settle down before speaking.

"Aight y'all I'm sure y'all know of me from the Dare program a couple months ago. I'm Mr.Bennett, ima be here for the next few months till y'all teacher returns. Y'all work on the board for...what it looks like..." he turns to glance at the board "the whole month at least."

The classroom starts to sigh and everybody started to complain

"This stuff light work tho y'all got it. All I ask is for yall to not be loud and do yo work." He says while walking to the teachers desk to sit down

He stares at a paper before blurting out "Aye Ms. Jacobs, she already told me what you here to do just hand me the paper of names you got at the end of each class period."

"How Ima do that if I got other classes too?" I laughed nervously

"Awe dang I forgot to tell you. Your teacher had got permission from all your teachers to stay in here and just get your work from your other classes." He hands me a paper that was organized like a teachers planner, a syllabus "Thats everything for the month. Doesn't seem like much."

"Thanks." We made eye contact for a quick second then looked away

"Mr.Bennett?!" A girl yells

The girl name was Jasmine. Can't stand her ass. Always wanna be seen with that ran through ass coochie she got. Whole football team done smashed.

"You married? You got kids?"

"Why you ask?" He says looking over from his desk

"Cus these folks over here saying you married and got 3 kids" she laughed uncontrollably

He mugged her then laughed it off

"I'm for real they said the shit." She says

"Well ian married...and I got two kids if that helps you out." He nods getting back to what he was doing on his lap top

"Oooouuu he free game on god when I graduate he mines." I heard her say lowly

I pulled out a piece of paper and started my list right away

45 mins into the next period someone knocks at the door and in comes the cheer captain,Taylor, with a bathroom pass.

"The fuck she here for." I say under my breath

"Yes ma'am?" Mr.Bennett looks up

"Ooouuu you back?" She walks over to his desk "Dang it's been a minute."

"Yeah they got me subbing for a couple weeks. Light work." He sits back in his chair getting comfortable as she leans on his desk still talking

"Mane why I can't take yo class I wanna come in here." She says "Ooouu if I get all my work from my classes can I come in here?" She begs

"Nah. Cus then the whole damn school would be in here." He shakes his head

Then she looks at me "She in here this ain't even ha class. Got a whole desk by you and everything." She rolls her eyes

"Bitch." I mumbled

"Leave her alone she doing some for me." He says getting back to his laptop notes "Why you in here with a bathroom pass anyway. That's a red flag right there." He laughs

"Mr.Bennett you playing." She pouted laughing a little

"Bye! Go to class." He fans her off

As she walked away she rolled her eyes at me again.
I pulled out the biggest binder I had attempting to beat her ass with it but just added her to the list instead....

"This should be fun..." I smile to myself glancing at Mr.Bennett before getting back to work.
