I had been told I would be many things over the course of my life.
First by my mother, a human who had fallen for an angel. She thought I'd save the world one day.
Then by my father, the angel who betrayed me and left wounds so deep I would forever be scarred. He thought I would kill the son of satan.
Then by Father Fujimoto, an exorcist who'd taken me in and given me a family when I had nothing. He thought I'd save the boy he called his son.
Then by Yukio Okumura, a boy who had become my friend and my brother. He thought I would stop his brother from ever becoming a demon.
Then by Rin Okumura, the boy who I had dedicated my life too. He thought I would kill Satan.
And then by him, Ryuji Suguro, a boy I fell in love with. He thought I'd be able to save myself from the destiny awaiting me.
As I stated in the mirror at my reflection, a shell of a girl staring back at me, I realised I had let them all down.
They couldn't have been more wrong about who I was.
