It hurts part 3-Nat

A/n:I'm aware that part two was just posted.But i wanted to write part three so here Ya go.Y/n isn't in this one but she'll be in the next one.

Scott paced up and down in front of Nat and Steve as he rubbed his forehead.

Steve looked concerned whilst Nat looked freaked out.

"Scott.You okay?"Steve asked.

"Yeah yeah."Scott rubbed his face in confusion."Have either of you ever studied quantum physics?"

"No but my daughter had."Nat mumbled.

"Where is she?"Scott asked.

Nat looked down.Scott must have got the hint and talked on.

"Only to make conversation."Nat said putting her hands in her pockets.

"Alright so.Five years ago.Right before Thanos.I was in a place called the quantum realm and the quantum realm is like it's very own microscopic universe.To get in there you have to be incredibly small.Hope,she um.........She was my.........umm."He trailed off."She was supposed to pull me out and then Thanos happened and I got stuck in there."

"I'm sorry.That must have been a very long five years."Nat said.

"Yeah but that's it,It wasn't.For me it was five hours.See the rules of the quantum realm aren't what they are up here.Everything is unpredictable."His eyes met the sandwich on the counter."Is that anybody's sandwich?.Im starving."He added walking forward to grab it.

"Scott,What are you talking about?"Steve asked.

"So what I'm saying is."Scott said with a mouth full of food."Time works differently in the quantum realm.The only problem is now,we don't have a way to navigate it.But what if we did?I can't stop thinking about it.What if,there was a way we could enter the quantum realm at a certain point in time but then exit at another point.Like before Thanos."

"Wait,are you talking about a time machine?"Steve asked.

"No no no.Of course not.Not a time machine more like a...................yeah.Like a time machine."Scott sighed."Sorry it's crazy."

"Scott,I get emails from a raccoon.Nothing sounds crazy anymore."Nat said.

"So what do we do?"

"We think of a different way.There's gotta be something."Steve said.

-Skip a few hours-

Bruce was called in and the team had successfully built a "time machine".Bruce stood over the machine as he pressed the buttons.

Scott stood nervously in a suit that Bruce made specifically for this mission.

"There's soldiers on stand by."Steve said entering the room.

"Good,because if anything goes wrong,I don't want to lose uhhh tiny over here in the 1950s."Bruce gestured to Scott who stood nervously.Scott's eyes went wide.

"What?"

"He's kidding."Nat said laughing a bit."You can't say things like that."

"It was a......Uh bad joke."Bruce said as Scott walked away.

"You were joking right?"Nat asked.

"I have no idea.I mean were talking about time travel here,either it's all a joke or none of it is."He then put on a smile."We're good."He put a thumbs up to Scott who nodded."Scott,I'm gonna send you back a week,let you walk around for an hour,then bring you back in ten seconds."

"Perfectly not confusing."Scott said.

"Good luck Scott.You got this."Steve encouraged.

"Your right.I do Captain America."Scott said his last words as he was sent back.

"On the count of three."Bruce said."Three,two,one."He pressed the button.They all looked up to see a teen in the same suit Scott was in.He pressed the button again and an older version of Scott showed up.

"Hey hey.Bruce bring him back."Steve said.

"I'm working on it."

Bruce pressed it again and a baby version of Scott showed up.

"It's a baby."Steve sighed.

"It's Scott."Bruce said.

"As a baby!"

"He'll grow."

Nat walked over and turned a leaver that brought back normal Scott who looked stunned.He wiggled in his suit.

"Someone definitely peed in my suit.But I'm not sure if it was old me or baby me.Or just me me."

"Time travel!"Bruce yelled.Steve gave him an "are you serious?"look.

Nat sighed rubbing her for head.

"This is gonna get one of us killed."
