Lost child
Person A had a kid. Their kid, person B, was taken when they were at a very young age. The kid has lived with their captor, person C. Person C is the villain of the story. All they needed was a young child to complete the process of their plan and not that the kid is of age, person C can accumulate their plan. Person C ends up giving the child their role in case something happens to them. Person B ends up going to find person A after person B had died. It's up to you if B finds A.
