𝚂𝚒𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙳𝚊𝚢 𝙸 𝙼𝚎𝚝 𝚈𝚘𝚞 || 𝙺.𝚂𝚊𝚔𝚞𝚜𝚊

My solo piece, Flower Dance, is the first one to be performed

The principal is now doing his speech and I would be performing after he finished

Am I nervous? Not really, I've been to much bigger stages

But a small part of me does feel nervous, at the thought of Sakusa watching me playing

It's weird how I'm excited because he is there, we only met each other few days ago, let along the fact that we talked once and not even in the same class

"...once again I wholeheartedly welcome all the new pupils, wether you are new students who joined Itachiyama 1st year, or student who transferred to 2nd or 3rd year, I wish all of you a productive, academic year. Now let's enjoy the rest of the afternoon"

Sound of applauding instantly took over as Gojo-sensei went on stage

"Thank you principal for the speech, now we shall begin our short music performances, first up, welcome Y/n L/n, aka Zephyr and her solo piece -Flower Dance"

Applause sounded, alongside a few whispers while Gojo-sensei is exiting the stage, he showed me a thumbs up as he walk pass me

I let out a little smile in respond before walking on stage, the stage light focused on me and followed me each step I took

I reached the center stage where the piano is, I slightly bowed at the audience, my eyes quickly flowed around the room, looking for someone particular, but the audience seats were too dark for me to see

I made myself comfortable on the seat and took a deep breath before starting to play

The song was written after I watched the Italian movie 'Assignment: Outer Space' and the start of the song is a conversation I cut out from the movie, I really loved it and I think it is a very romantic song, this song is also the title track for the instrumental section of my album

As soon as I start playing, I'm drowned into the music, I let my finger run wild on the notes, completely memorised the place they go due to the uncountable amount of practising

A boy at the corner of the assembly hall currently have his eyes glued to the girl on stage

He have never been so interested in a person

Her playing is the most beautiful melody he have ever heard, it brings a sense of calmness, just how can someone be able to play music that's so healing yet full of story

At first, Sakusa only talked to Emori because he is one of the strongest middle blocker and server, it is definitely beneficial to the team if he joins, therefore Sakusa was desperate to let Emori accept the offer

That's also how he got to know Emori's sister, who is in the same year as him

Sakusa appreciate her cleanness, she wears a mask whenever he sees her around, she always have hand sanitisers and alcohol spray with her

In fact, this is the first time he seen her without her mask, and she is.. umm.. pretty?

Most importantly, his curiosity boosted up for her this morning, when she perfectly received the unexpected ball he accidentally spiked

Right now, his attention is all of this girl, she is talented
