*I told you it was coming... :) *

Mexico POV:
America... He was one of my best friends... and I don't know why but I feel like our whole friendship lead to this moment.

I took a deep breath and began to sing. The beginning of the song came naturally and the middle as well but nearing the end I looked away from the floor and looked up at America. He seemed to be smiling but I couldn't really tell because of the bright lights on my face.

Afterwards there was a great amount of applause and then silence as I walked off of stage.

I walked toward me and America's table and he just said, "They brought your coffee." And nothing else, I couldn't tell if he was joking or if he had nothing to say.

"Was it that bad?" I asked, guessing that he didn't like the song or... maybe me?

"No! It was amazing!" He said quickly.

"Well then why didn't you say anything when I walked up?" I asked, getting more confused.

"I just didn't know what to say." He answered, looking uncomfortable.

"I guess." I said, sitting down and wondering what would happen next. Maybe I was being over dramatic... I've never acted like this around anyone else, I've always brushed it off.

"Do you wanna go?" He asked, "I wouldn't mind us being alone."

I was a little caught off guard but I just guessed he was tired or something. He paid and we walked back to his car but instead of starting the engine he looked over at me.

"Hey... So I really did like your song and I was always told that actions speak louder than words." He said, pulling me towards him and kissing me strongly.

*Did I move the plot too quickly idk but this isn't ending for a while.*
