Chase
I ripped off the blindfold and saw Andy shoving his tongue down her throat, what else could I have done? It is perfectly reasonable to take action when someone is being a total dickhead. It wasn't the first time I'd beat a guy up for her at a party. The first time, we were only thirteen.
The guy was Steven Walsh. He was one of those arty types, friends with Dean. He was on my soccer team, a defender. We didn't talk much. It started in the changing rooms after training one day.
The guys were talking about girls. They always did. Steven was a player, plain and simple. A different girl every day. He was worse than I had ever been. He was a total pig. And, in the dressing rooms, he said he had a thing for Alice.
Everybody laughed. It was a ludicrous idea, she'd been with Dean for a year at that point.
He said he was best friends with Dean. he knew something that could tear the two of them apart. He was planning on having her run into his arms for a day, at a party that was coming up at the end of the month. They'd get to second base, he'd ditch her before the tears could set in, and it would all work out in his favour.
I wanted them to break up as much as he did, but it wouldn't be right to do it like that. He'd end up making her feel like shit. That could not happen, under any circumstances.
So every day in the changing rooms, I waited for him to change his pitch. Then it was the day of the party. He kept bragging about it. So I decided I had to go. For her.
I told Tiffany, the girl whose house it was in, that I liked her. So she invited me last-minute. Her older brother was chaperoning. It seemed like it would be fun.
By the time I showed up, everyone was hopped up on coke (the drink) and ice-cream. Dean and Alice were hanging out in the garden, and I talked to Tiffany, ensuring I could keep an eye on them.
After an hour or so, Steven showed up. He marched straight over to Dean and started chatting. Then he turned to Alice, and smiled.
"You know, during the summer, our boy Deano here was off in Florida?" He smiled, "And you know what Florida's like? With all the babes and beaches? Well-"
I abandoned my conversation with Tiffany and ran at Steven. He was caught off guard as I bowled him over, pinning him to the ground and kneeing him where very few guys like being kneed. I had the advantage as I head butted him, but he pushed me off and sprang to his feet.
By now there were quite a few people gathered around, but none of them thought to intervene. Steven charged me and I managed to get him in a headlock, my forearm pressed against his throat.
"If you ever go anywhere near Alice again." I hissed, "You'll be going home to your mommy with more than just your dignity destroyed."
He was struggling for air as I released him. I quickly pulled down his pants, just to issue a final warning, and left the circle of people gawking at us.
"Great party Tiff." I smiled, kissing her on the cheek, before nodding at Alice and walking off.
Steven got the message, loud and clear, and hasn't touched Alice since. Tiffany and I dated for maybe a month, but she preferred the 'psycho' me to the 'normal' me, so I had to let her go.
Alice never figured out why I beat up that tool-bag, but Dean thanked me for 'covering his tracks' for him.

I dragged Andy to the wall, pinning him against it with one arm across his chest, and using the other to deliver a right-hook to his jaw. I then slapped him hard across the face and put my hand on his throat.
"Listen here, pretty-boy." I growled at the disorientated Andy, "If you ever lay a hand on her, I will rip your heart out and mail it to your family."
"Someone has a thing for thick girls." He taunted me, "What, the uglier the better."
My blood boiled as I threw him to the ground pinned him there with my knees on his shoulders. With both hands, I strangled him. His face turned red and he tried to scream. I knew it was going too far, but I couldn't bring myself to get off him.
I felt hands on my chest as Alice and Cooper pulled me off, leaving Andy to roll around in tears. I hung my head in shame, expecting Alice to flip out on me.
"That was bloody well psychotic!" She yelled, smiling, before wrapping her arms around me, "Thanks."
I could only grin as I held her as close as one human can hold another, and buried m face in her hair. It smelled of lavender.
"I think you should leave." Howard was telling Andy, "It would probably be in your best interests."
Andy sulked off, and Alice pulled away from me, holding my hand. Everyone else was either leaving, patting me on the back in congratulations or asking if Alice was okay.
"Thanks for letting me win that game." She whispered in my ear as everyone trickled out, "Such a gentleman."
I blushed as she led me to the minibar, where Luke had resumed his position, and ordered two Lemon Drops. I pushed a five over the counter as a tip, and took my drink.
We were still holding hands, and my body pumped with adrenaline as I led her out to the garden. It was just about dark, and the garden was illuminated with gentle lighting around the fence. It was pretty big, as gardens go, and I led her to a bench at the back.
We sat down, and I wrapped my arm around her as we drank. It was perfect, if just for a moment.
